Good job figuring out your priorities. I agree with the notion PE should not keep you from other priorities. However, theres no reason it cannot be a healthy addition to life. It does not need to be seen as a "crutch". Nor something that keeps you from doing other things. People who have such issues probably have somewhat of an addictive personality and would have a similar issue with going to the gym, as an example. Ive known guys who got into bodybuilding and that literally became ALL they thought about.
