Im trying to understand something about the 50/50 or even 70/30 or anybother ratio that combine both K and RK together. Why if im having bad IKS during edging/sex and its uncontrollable at all, do I need to do RK with regular kegels? My logic tells me that if im having involuntary contraction in the pelvic and thats a result of doing unnoticeable kegels for many years, and thats what cause those spasms, why do i need to continue with the regular kegels?? I know some of you will say, to maintain erection, but thats not really correct, because by doing RK you pushing more blood to the penis and it make it stronger harder and even healthier and I can justify it on myself.
So my question is why do we need to do kegels if thats, maybe, what brought us to PE from the start.. ??
Thanks!

You do kegels to get control over them, to get to know them. You turn involuntary kegels to voluntary kegels. You for example try to hold a kegel for 30 seconds and then release it slowly = kegel control.

Don't do kegels, I don't know whether you decided yourself or someone suggested them, but you're right, rk only routine has great benefits, did for me. But it is true that it can cause lower eq / libido, probably why it was suggested to you, but if your not experiencing that, go for an rk only routine, post back.

Im trying to deal with PE for a long time, ive tried every method, only kegels, only RK, 50/50 RK/K, 70/30 RK/K but ive never been consistent with anyone of them because I didnt see any improvment. and than ive started thinking, why to do kegels at all if thats what brought me to PE from the start. So ive decided to take it more seriously and stick with one method and see what happend. Im doing RK for a month and half and my EQ is insane, im not seeing any problems with libido or any other problems that may occur. Im not in the place of having control or even close, but I really feels that my pelvic is getting more relax everyday by practicing on relaxing exercises.
I know it will take time to see any big improvment, because after all, years of bad habbits cannot be change in a few months.

The thing is, even after all that time that im dealing with PE I still cant understand what is the logic behind doind regular kegel if that what makes us com faster. How can you control involuntary KEGEL by doing KEGEL???? dont you need to do the opposite action the control something? Im sorry but i really dont understand it. Ill glad if you will explain it more.
Thank you for being patient and im sorry for my bad English :)

Well whether you do kegel, reverse kegels, any other exercises, the main thing that you need to focus on is edging, they help but edging is the actual stamina training.

It's hard to understand how kegels would help they do, but it depends on each person, doing kegels will tire out the muscles so if you edge or have sex then yes you will actually have less control / worse prem e, this is what happened to me when I did kegels. But if you let the muscles rest and keep gaining strength then they can help, and you can practice stopping yourself orgasm / do / mmo.

But for you just put your focus into edging, that's where progress is to be made.

Unfortunately I dont have the proper time to edging but im consistent with my exercises, RK, stretches, massage and breathing. I will try to make a progress without edging at all because either way I dont have the time for it. It can be intresting to see what can be change by only work out physically, without edging. Who knows what we can learn from it...

The point of doing kegels with reverse kegels is to have a strong and balanced PF. If you want to concentrate on RK's without K's, that's your choice. People tend to recommend the safe option. I did RK's to the point that I would do them without meaning to, and eventually it had a terrible effect on my EQ. I had to stop doing them completely. I recovered after a few weeks, but it might have been best to avoid that situation all together.

Hey plays alot thanks for your comment but its still doesnt make sense to me. I understand the part of strong and balanced in theory, but how it can actually make you stop from spasming??
I want to ask you a question. How long did it take you to get to the point of doing rk without meaning to(first time ive heared about it)? When you got to this point, did you have more IKS ? Because if I understand it correctly, if you have had involuntary REVERSE KEGEL, as you say, it means no spasm of regular kegels, which means delayed ejaculation.. am I right?
Also if we all understand it correctly, RKS means push more blood, how can it make bad EQ?
We all understand kegel and reverse kegel in theory, but ,people all the time claims things that opposing the theory about both K and RK.

Nobudy,
I don't know how long it took for RK's to effect my EQ. They weren't involuntary, I was pushing out without realizing I was doing so. Kind of like having bad body posture, you slouch, but you don't realize you are doing it. I don't think an RK only routine has to lead to poor EQ, but it can. I was just sharing my experience. When I stopped doing RK's my EQ improved, that is all I know about it.
RK's are meant to stretch out your PF. They are recommended for people who want to relax their PF. Some people's PF are chronically tight. Some people's PF tighten up uncontrollably when they get excited or aroused. Either way, doing RK's can help. Those who just need to practice RK's to keep their PF relaxed during sex, but don't have chronically tight PF's, can keep doing regular kegels.
If you feel your PF is always tight, you can do an RK only routine to help, but you should also be doing squats and other stretches as well.

I think i can understand you somewhat, there is some days that I can feel my pelvic in a permanent "pushing mode". I dont know if its a result of too much exercising (RK, stretching..) that my my pelvic to be fatigue for the rest of the day, or some weakness of the pelvic(unbalanced). Either way, if Im taking a rest of a few days it pass.

For now im not having any problems, on the contrary, im seeying only benefits from it. Thanks for your time and patient and im defenitaly will be cautious from now!

One of the problems I had was not knowing when my muscles were relaxed. I didn't feel they were tight to begin with, I could only feel them when I pushed out. So how could I know whether I pushed them out enough, not enough, or too far if I didn't know where they were supposed to be to begin with.
I think I started pushing out all the time because in my mind, if I didn't feel that "pushed out" feeling, my muscles must be tight. Over time, it just became a habit. RK's did help me. I just went too far and think some counter action(regular K's) could have helped me avoid the issue.
