I was born to a German immigrant mother. My grandfather was in the German Army (different from the Nazis for those of you that don't know this) but it didn't matter, we were all labeled as Nazi Jew haters. This was completely wrong thinking and as we know, all Germans did not support Hitler and his views, nor commit the crimes.

Which brings me to what I said earlier every country has committed atrocities against some other people, nation, color or culture. I do not believe there is a single culture on this planet that hasn't done something they are not proud in the history of their existence.

Hmmmm...this feels like a research project.

No way..... my grandmother is of german descent.........she fell down a flight of stairs in Berlin.

The German people didn't know what was happening to the Jews because it was taking place in Poland.

I lived in West Berlin for 3 years in the mid-70's

She fell down the stairs? That's terrible! Did she live?
