My iphone is nearing its last charge. Its a 3gs and I just hate to get rid of it. But the batteries only take so many charges. Then you take it in, they give you a different phone. They will give me a 4 and my friends hate their 4. So I am going to go ahead and get the 4s so I can talk to Siri.

I really wish we could go back to land lines and 9-5 days. I have disciplined myself and at least I turned off my texting in and out everyday at 5pm. Only family numbers can call in. But I am addicted to the smart phones.

That is all... lol

A jailbroken 4 can run siri if you don't want to spend the cash on the 4S

Also, a 3gs battery can be replaced for like 30-40$ (I believe it violates your warranty though) if you don't want to upgrade

How do I get the battery changed? None of the places here will do that. I have no warranty I have had the phone for like 3 or more years!

Please message me or tell me here whatever you want (lol) Now if I get a battery who can put it in? lol TY Pady!

Most large cities in Europe will have a computer repair shop that will also replace iPhone batteries so look into that

If not you can order the part online and install it yourself (difficult)

There are also some sites that let you post your iphone and they will send it back with the battery replaced

I'll google :)

EDIT: I found 2 US companies

I would suggest calling them to see if they have repair shops close to you, if not you can mail them the iphone :) Battery replacement is 50$

You're welcome :)

You should consider the 4S though if you can get it cheaply with a new contract! I went from a 3G to a 4S and the speed difference was huge :) But then again, it is probably more prudent and wise to spend 50$ on a new battery now and then getting the iPhone 5 when it comes out (probably September/October)

I'm going to wait until the second generation, you can be on the bleeding-edge, "beta-test", and experience all of the problems while paying a premium :p

Yes I'll wait for iPhone 5 to come out and get tweaked out then get it.
For now I'm going to try to find that battery and some techy place to take care of it for me.

Hi malehanger dale ;)

Trust your gut. Always has worked. But also keeps me away from a lot of people places and things. The feeling of fear of the unknown. Just because your scared doesn't mean you'll die
I know this. I'm not scared of much but when it comes to a new person if i get that ugh wait what's up feeling, I just run. I want to test it. Test the fear. Look both ways but still cross the road even though I can't see what's on the other side. Anxiety is nothing new to me but this has got me pinned down :(

I love naps. I just had one of the best naps I have had in a very long time. The kind that you wish you could pay to get tapped on the forehead and be put into a deep sleep lol All I can do is thank the man above for it hahaha

And about my previous post up there, I went with my gut and thank God. It was not meant for a growing experience. It was meant to feel the danger, turn and run. That is what I did and I am and will be better for it :)

Congratulations to the Great British Olympic team :) because with 29 Gold medals (no 29 wasn't a typing error :first:) you exceeded all my expectations. :D

Funny how most of the medals were in sports that require you to be completely miserable for long periods of time.

Well, cycling covers both of those things. You guys got what, 8 golds and 4 other medals in cycling events?

Weird anyway because you usually need good dry weather to get good at that.
