Hey Marvin I think i might have measured my girth incorrectly as well...My current erect length is 15cm and my girth is 5cm according to my estimation...I have been using one of those tailor measuring bands and just kept it horizontal over my dick without wrapping it around the little bugger...

Mind i just say that i have been using the extender for more than 4 months now and have grown from 14.5 cm when erect to 15cm...I am stiffly chuffed with myself...

I wrap it around my dick and amend my measurements...

yes, either use a piece of string and then pull the strinf tight to a ruler, or use a tailor's measuring tape.
Make sure either the string or tailor's tape is making contact with skin all the way around, no air gaps.

Yeah, and don't apply any pressure. But the most important thing is to do it the same way each time. That's all--whether you measure it at the base, mid-shaft or at the glans. I like to keep track of my symmetry, so I measure in all three places.

The reason you shouldn't apply pressure when measuring, is that it's hard to know how much pressure you applied the previous time! This will cause you to have inaccurate measurements.

By simply wrapping the measure tape around so that it's not baggy and hanging, nor tight, will give you a decent measurement. This is also easy to apply going forward with future measurements.

By the way, strangling it... yeah never do that. Especially if you measure your flaccid girth. That is crazy different. I can go from being close to 5" flaccid when measured right to being like under 4" if cutting the circulation off.

Hmm, still waiting What I ment to ask was, I have slight soft skin on top so if I were to twist my penis a little from the saft the skin moves a fair bit. Becuase of this, when I mesure useing a tailers mesure strip should I softly and gently wrap it around, or should I apply presure to it?

The only reaosn I ask is, if I were to penetrate, I wanted to know how much is actually penetrating. If I were to gently wrap it around, I get a reading of around 5.5" if I were to apply a little tug presure I read around 5.2" and thats a big loss.

This is why I asked what is the correct way of mesuring.

By kegling and squeezing woman will in fact put some pressure on the penis, same as if you tug a measuring tape. However, woman's vagina is sensitive as hell. So everything what gets inside will be "registered" as it is, nothing will disappear. It may be pressurize and squeezed, thus will be felt even if that's soft skin.
Conclusion: no pressure should be apply while measuring, just gentle, close fit.

One more comment, bigger base girth is giving feeling of better fulfillment to the vagina.

I would like to know woman perspective on this.

I usually take a ruler and mark a piece of paper thats in the same shape/size of a ruler (long rectangle).Mark it just like the ruler, I mark mine in CM then when I need to convert to inches I just type in on a calculator how many CM's I have x 0.39 and there ya go, you now have a girth ruler.

Its easy to use as all you need to do is wrap it around your cock and seeing paper is bendy its perfect, quick and not so annoying as having a tape measure.

Yeah, perhaps asked before but I have a different question. Now, I put a meter mesure around my penis and in most of the parts it comes back the same result, so for the sake of it, lets say the girth is all the same.

Right, now heres the brain buster. When I mesure when I'm erect, it comes back as 5.5" or so I think. (I'm not sure if its just me or if ever penis is like this) but if I were to apply a little presure (tug one side of the mesurer) it will shrink to about 13cm which is just over 5" so thats a big loss.

How do you REALLY mesure the penis girth? Do you just lay it around, give it a slight tug so it fits around the penis and thats it? Or do you need to apply a little presure to it?

Again, I'm not sure if its just me but the skin on my penis is rather... soft so when I go to hold it, I can tell I loose a good 0.5" for sure. Or am I just imagining things. HELP!

I was going to ask the very same thing, bizarre!

When I originally took measurements, my girth was only 4" and a tiny bit, last night though, when I sprouted a high quality erection, I decided to measure again, with the tape measure wrapped carefully around, yet without that final extra "garrote" on the tape, it recorded a bit over 4.25". ? . What made me want to measure again was seeing some of the pictures other members have posted up, it seemed I was pulling the measure alot tighter than the people in all the pics I've seen.

Bit older thread, but just wanted to say something. Using a tape is always going to give you a lower reading because of the flexibility and thickness of the tape. It will give you a general idea where your girth is, but still isn't 100% accurate. Tape measure at the base puts me at no lower than 5.5, dental floss at the base puts me at 5.8 max. Also have consider your erection %. In an engorged semi-erect state, I get about a 6 girth reading with both methods. So my semi is actually just a little thicker than my full erect.

I suggest to measure both semi and fully erect, you might be surprised.
