Hi to all,

Unfortunately I have Hard Flaccid for 4 months now. It all started with too much masturbation i guess (although my first symptom appeared the day after a running excercise).

This symptomes have disseapared with time (and abstaing from sex/masturbation)
- cold penis/numb penis
- no morning wood
- testicular pain
- heavy cramps in perineum
- difficulty with bowel movement
- burning feeling urethra (I guess because of urine that keeps sticking in)
- continue feeling of having to pee (waking up several times at night)
- pain after ejeculation (kind of feeling a short muscle movement that hurts)
- feeling of having a golf ball in the butt

I stil have the following problems:
- Hard Flaccid
- very hard morning erections, bigger girth than normal, (I can literally feel the bc muscle is bigger/tighter than normal with a morning erection, I can feel a tight bulge under my testicals and where your penis attaches to your bc muscle its bigger)
- testicles feel different, sometimes a bit light and they usually feel too tight. They really sweat more (are more red)
- I have to make a kegel motion to make the last drops of piss come out (sometimes I'm leaking after urination). When I do make this kegel motion (I try to avoid it, it feels really weak).
- I can feel tension in my perineum all day (conentrated around my rectum). My perineum has lost muscle substance, it is very flat, i guess that is because the bc muscle is extremely tight

I have been to numerous doctors (who dismissed it as strange and not possible) and 2 PT's.

The first PT concluded I had hypertonic pelvic floor. She wanted to learn my to lengthen my pelvic floor muscle but she totally learn it the wrong way because I was tensing abs, legs very hard and it definitely didn't felt i was relaxing the pelvic floor. After 1 month she said that the excerise had to be done different, but she learned it to me that wrong way. So i moved to another PT.

The second PT evaluated my pelvic floor and body in 1,5 months. I do not have trigger points. But my perineum is extremely tight, when I'm typing this I can literally feel the tension down there. I also have tight hamstrings/thighs and abs. I asked for a exercise to make my pelvic floor more relaxed, so when I see her next week she will begin to teach me the excercise.

I read numerous threads on this website (and others) and I guess what I can conclude is that what my PT will have to learn me are reverse kegels so my tight perineum muscle will lengthen?

I sincerely hope someone will respond (thanks in advance).

Thanks MrB8 for reading my story and give me a reply I really appreciate it.

My first PT has measured my pelvic tension in rest state and it was around 7, and normally it should be around 3.

I have read numerous threads around here on how to reverse kegel but I don't quite understand it.

I have tried to be aware of the movement when I urinate and I gently force the urine stream, my perineum around my rectum will bulge out a little bit downwards in the direction of my penis (but not alot) and my rectum will be a little more open.

Is that suppose to happen with a reverse kegel movement? Is this the reverse kegel that will in time lengthen my bc-muscle (because I read here there are front and back reverse kegels)? I know you don't suppose to do it on the toilet, but i'm only trying to be aware more of the muscle movement down there.

I think I will to ask my PT to monitor me with biofeedback equipment to teach me a reverse kegel and see eventually if i'm doing a reverse kegel the right way.

Reverse kegels are like stretching exercises, you relax your pelvic floor, and tense your lower abs to apply pressure on your pelvic floor muscles and stretch them out gently, like when you push urine out faster. :)

I'm doing yoga And deep squats, I literally read all the stickies about reverse kegels, still i got a question, because my perineum muscles feels literally hard as concrete when i stand/walk, way too tense.

After practicing a little bit while laying down and not tensing my abs (i don't know of tensing abs and pushing hard is good for my very tight pelvic floor), the only thing what happens when i try to simulate i'm going to pee is that my anus opens a little bit and my perineum Will move a little bit downwards in the direction of my penis, but not much, verry tiny bit (but the thing i Mostly feel is that my anus opens a bit) i'm i doing it right? (this feeling i can hold very long because nothing significants happens, so i don't know if i'm doing it right, i guess not).

I think i have a few symptoms... i have definitely had the burning urethra but that was like occasionally. Hasn't happened recently. Cold/numb penis i think also occurred and i needed to pee alot aswell. Follow MrBB's advice i have been for the last week and it seems to be working!
That golf ball thing i think i had after taking a dump aswell.

Thanks for the respond, sounds encouraging that you see results.

After many attemps trying to feel the movement when you piss harder, i kind of think i can do it Now.

When i'm lying And thinking about making pee, i gentle push my perineum (the part closely too the anus) outwards, anus opens little bit, but i don't push hard, because don't want to cause further tension.

Can Someone respond if this sounds right as a reverse kegel?(to rebalance my pelvic floor and get my bc-muscle back). I would Really appreciate it.

Front reverse kegel is what's contracted to force urine.
Back reverse kegel is what's contracted to fart or have a bowl movement.

Yes, reverse kegels are used to relieve tension within the pelvic floor, just don't strain yourself.

Most guys start with a combined rk.

I've been doing reverse kegels for 4 days Now (after week practicing), ofcourse no results, because that takes at least weeks/months.

Two questions:
1. I'm doing 30x 7sec holds a day, is this too much or too little? Should i slowly work to higher routine if so how Many eventually? (10 min reverse kegels holds a day, like minuteman's routine?)

2. I've read on the forum, some Say you need rest days, 2 days off 1 day on, minuteman's routine has only 1 rest day in a week, Should i have restday with Only reverse kegels routine?

Just got back from my second PT, after weeks research she said i had pelvic tension, especially in perineum (it feels flat not a solid muscle, my perineum feels rock hard when i stand).

After last week she Checked my pelvic floor in the butt, And says its Now totally fine. What a nonsense she didn't even gave me a exercise to do, you can't get rid of chronic pelvic tension in 1 week.

Al my symptoms are still there ofcourse, i said too her my bulbocavernosus (bc muscle) is the problem, she telt and said the skin wasn't tense And i had no pain when she touched the muscle.

I feel so hopless, i was trying to get some professional hulp but they are useless.

I know revers kegels are the treatment so i Will do them and hopefully that Will help.

Thanks for reading.

Update:
Biofeedback measured my pelvic tension in rest as 5 And it initially was 7 when this hell started. So pelvic tension is bit less. Still too high ofcourse. (i guess normal would be around 2-3).

I've been doing reverse kegels And conscious relaxing my pelvic floor for 3-4 weeks Now besides stretching.

HF is a little bit better. Still firm and turtling but not always rock hard when standing/walking.

The following symptoms still present (besides HF):
- annoying tension around perineum/anus area, this causes a lot of discomfort and drives me crazy sometimes. It's just the tension i feel, imagine 2 times as much tension in your legs for example you would annoylingy feel that.
- skin penis/testiscles dry And less colored (it feels different) because of lack bloodflow/oxygen i presume.
- testicles too tight sometimes, although its summer.
- urine stream sometimes not as forceful and defecating little bit more difficult.

Thank you for reading, and dealing with HF/pelvic tension is hard so i know how you feel when you might read this.

If you read this, are in Europe And your PT understands HF/pelvic tension and most importantantly told you normal pelvic tension is around 2 And ofcourse helped you tremendeously please PM me (my three PT's i have visited don't think my tension is too high, even if i had 12 it was good they said (sounds weird I know, they are so stupid) And they won't help me.

Thanks you so much for keeping us updated, Wesley. I don't have a HF, though reading these posts have made me aware of my current pelvic floor situation, i.e, from too much sitting and terrible flexibility.

Update:
Tension in rest is somewhere between 4.0-5.0 when hooking up to biofeedback, i eventually got it down to 3.8 while doing PT. My, new PT says 2.0 is normal. So it's Now about 2 times too high.

HF is almost gone, it just turtles very frequently.
Discomfort around rectum because of tension is a bit less these days (still present on the background) which is definetely great. Exam inside rectum was kind of painfull when touching some muscles.

A very big issue is still the bloodflow to my genitals (And enough oxygen). My testicles don't look healthy at all, the skin is thin And raw And scrotum itself is not full with blood. During summier it used to be as red as a strawberry Sometimes. Now it's light purple, there is significantly less blood And they feel cold sometimes. Also the penis skin is dry And thinner.

I read that 10% more pelvic tension reduces bloodflow with 50% of the pelvic floor muscles (10% of maximum contraction to be specific, so if your maximum contraction is 20, 10% is 2, so if normal is 2, tension level of 4 could limit your bloodflow with 50%).

I hope my tension Will go down further and thereby alowing more blood to flow freely to my genitals.

I'll keep you updated.

Update:
Pelvic tension in rest was 10, eventually i got it down to 3.5. But the 10 discourages me a lot, it has never been so high. (maybe because of spasm that it was so high i don't know). When he's 3.5 i still don't have enough bloodflow to my genitals. Perineum still feels tight.

I'm going to continue to do reverse kegels.

Dealing with it mentally is getting harder And harder. I want to Get. Cured so badly, i hope one day i Will be.
