Thanks

Thanks

Welcome back Dustpan :)

Its has been a hard two weeks after the surgery, but I still have a way to go with physical theropy. I still can't do any weight lifting for a while, I guess this is the break that I need to regenerate myself.

Busyman,

I don't know how much they will cost in your area but here they cost about $11.00-$12.00. You also will need a (S) hook, a short length of rope for the weights.

Yea, breaks are a pain, but sometimes they are necessary. Either way, good luck on your recovery.

does the hanger tend to squeeze in from the sides and leave the dorsal nerve alone to some extent? i've heard this is important when considering a hanger.

beavertaffy,

The Dustpan Muzzle hanger I have modified it so the clamp doesn't push on the dorsal nerve of the penis.

did you cut away a bit of the material where it lines up with the top of your shaft? or do you just use a "cable clamp" to squeeze in from the sides?

This is an update with my hanging with heavy weights. Right now I have increased the weight to 86.5 lbs with a 30 second hanging time. I am still using the same Dustpan muzzle hanger that I started out with.

Heavy weights

I had know intention of leading anyone astray with heavy weights . The weights that I have been lifting has been done under strict caution. I take a long time building myself up to be able to achieve the weights that I am working with. Lifting 75 lbs plus is no easy task that one can jump right into as a beginner that hasn't conditioned himself to lift that kind of weight.

If you are going to get into lifting weight with a hanging device, make sure that the hanger is a good one, that can take that kind of weight and take your time with your hanging routine.

Good advice

Good advice

Good point, Dusty. For the new guys to the board, Dustpan spent several hours a day conditioning his penis for this kind of weight (which, by the way, is stronger than most people's biceps).

dustpan-just wondering if you are still using the muzzlehanger.and if you have moved up in weight.i started using a number 2 muzzlehanger purchased from petco after getting stuck at 40 pounds with the bibhanger.no matter how i wrapped or how much i tightened the hanger,i just could not move up in weight.i hope to be able to slowly move up to about 60 pounds with the muzzlehanger.seems like all the big gainers(dustpan, bib, dashdeming, and extreme) had to resort to heavy weights to make gains.i made zero gains with lighter weights(under 25 pounds) and lots of sets.when i dropped my sets to 2 a day and worked up to 40 pounds i finally made significant gains.hope you're still out there hanging.thanks for the inspiration-sumner

Sumner, How many sets were you doing with light weights (under 25 lb)? Were you reaching fatigue with this weight? Or are you finding now that you reaching fatigue easier with the heavy weight? One thing with the big gainers you have mentioned is that they put in a lot of sets!

hi-i was hanging six sets a day.twenty minutes per set.i started at five pounds and in about three months was using twenty-five pounds.i felt fatigue but experienced zero gains after many months at that weight.i was sort of afraid to go any higher.
then i read about dustpan and some other guys who were using much higher weights and decided to go for it.bib did very many sets(something like 12-18 a day)but the other guys only did one or two sets a day.i do two sets a day,one am and
one pm set.im now using forty-five pounds for ten minute sets with the bibhanger and trying to get the hang of the muzzlehanger for one set.so far i can only use twenty-five pounds with the muzzlehanger.probably doing something wrong.
all my gains came after i switched to two heavy sets a day.from 6x5 to 7x5.75.it took almost a year.kind of scary with the heavy weights but it works, so im sticking with it.im hoping dustpan is still hanging.amazing how much he can hang.
later.

Are there any videos of hanging devices and technique?

Great results sumner! I'm working my way up to hanging that kind of weight too! Looking forward to seeing what gains are achieved!

thanks.i'm using 55 pounds for 2x 5 minute sets now.10 minutes rest between sets, then 5minutes light jelqing to restore circulation.that's my entire routine.i'm now 7.5x6 and really psyched about it.closing in on my goal of 8x6.
all my girth gains are from hanging, which is pretty cool.good luck with your goal. -sumner
