Condoms suck and she may just want it to feel better or she may have an ulterior motive. After two years of being with her you should have an idea of who she is. My wife and I tried a form of the rhythm method. We couldn't find a pill that worked for her. We would use condoms around the time she was ovulating and we would not use anything when she wasn't ovulating. Are you ready for a child? Is that the question BigAbe is asking? Here's one problem I foresee... you said on & off for two years. So this isn't even a continuous committed relationship. As a woman I feel like for her to ask you to do this is suspicious at best. IF you two are using 'pull & pray' method and are aware of the consequences of your decision them go for it. I know condoms aren't the greatest always for reasons stated but they ARE birth control as well as protecting you both from std's. Just be smart. You obviously aren't completely comfortable with the idea or would not have posed the question. And just know if she's looking to get pregnant consider the commitment of the next 18-23 years whether you decide to be with her or not.
