I don't want to make this another one of those size threads, but It is something I have been deeply internally struggling with. Everyone seems to think 6 inches is the average. Little do they know, that 6 inch average is most likely the BONE pressed average.

Now, it seems everyone I know says they have a dick of at least 6 inches. Mine is 6.1-6.2 nbpel, and 6.75 bpel with a 5.5 EG. I have always felt small. However, statistically speaking, when looking at various studies, and the thundersplace poll on pre PE length with over 4000+ responses, the avg is somewhere around 6 Bone Pressed. Which is most likely somewhere around 5-5.5 nbpel.

I just cannot wrap my head, no matter how hard I try, that my penis could actually possibly be normal/above average. Just from listening to women/men talk about it, I somehow feel its flawed. Maybe the well hung guys get around more? I don't know. It just seems the general woman consensus (High school women...I'm only 18) that a 5-5.5 inch penis is small. Statistically speaking this should be the penis most encountered. From my experience of talking to people, I cannot for the life of me believe that that is actually the case.

The women who take the time to be a part of the PEGYM community are most likely more knowledgable on size (such as the difference between nbp and bpel). I Ask you, in your experiences, would you say that 6 bpel is actually the real average? What would you consider my penis if you saw it?

Seems to me that you think the word average means mediocre or okay or small but not tiny, but it means average.

I started at almost your exact same stats and I've had partners(women) tell me more than once that I have a big dick.

Btw women in general... not to mention high school GIRLS... have no idea what a measurement actually is and listening to them talk about numbers will make all those listening dumber for hearing it. Trust me, I take measurements constantly for a living in my trade, I am one of the few who can actually look at something and come up with a fairly accurate measurement. I know from personal experience, people like that are few and far between. You would be surprised how many people cant even take a proper measurement with a tape measure or ruler actually in their hands.

Than what is it with guys saying that they all have 6 and above? I know in general guys just lie, but these are some of the people I am the closest with. Just the kind of people you expect to not be people who would lie. Do you think people who dont practice PE generally measure the bone pressed method without even knowing what it is? I can't really remember how I measured before I found this place.

I'm not talking about your friends in particular, but just "guys" in general. When a guy has a 5.5 inches long dick, he will probably just say (to women) he has a 6,5 inches penis (or at least round it up to 6 inches).

That's just how people are... So yeah, the real average length is indeed around 5,5-6 inches. And that's it, don't think too much about it

This. People who don't PE are all going to measure the way that gives them the most length. Most of them anyways. And also if a guy is below average and someone asks what his size is he's going to say he's average at least, and that's completely understandable because nobody wants everyone to think they've got a small penis.

I'd trust straight numbers over feelings any day. Even then, there are potential flaws in the measuring processes, but these studies are probably better than self-measured men.

Sure, you look down and see the same thing pretty much every day (maybe in different states, but nonetheless). You're not in a situation to really make a fair comparison.

Add that to the fact that porn is generally made to create a fantasy (busty wet women and hung men) - you get the point.

Most human traits - especially physical ones - fall on a bell curve of standard deviation. The 5.5 -6.0 BPEL is probably a decent point, and honestly, most people regardless of gender lack the spatial relations skills to precisely gauge size within narrow increments anyway.

I would never ask a woman about her labia, and I would accept only equal courtesy in return. I'd say something like "when/if the time comes for that to be relevant, you'll find out." I might even point out to her (assuming a woman is asking) how I respect her too much to inquire about her vulva.

Eh, maybe I'm the one who's old-fashioned, but it seems unusual to me.

It's a dangerous cycle, being insecure causes you to want to talk about penises and then talking about penises makes you more insecure.

Trust me I know. And once your in it its difficult to get out. I'm better than I was though. I used to see a picture of a legitimate like 4 inch penis and think it was longer than mine and get all worried as to why mine measured more but wasn't as big. Rational ideas are all thrown out the window. And the thing is, I'm statistically a somewhat lucky one and shouldn't have much to worry about. And I can see that. And I feel like more of an asshole thinking of guys who are actually 4 inches reading my posts. Its just this self image issue I cannot shake no matter what anyone tells me, or what stats I have seen.

Im the type of person that could measure my penis on a ruler, get 6.75 bpel, and then instead of accepting it, question the actual measurements of the ruler instead. It's crazy. And I can recognize the fact that it is crazy, yet for some reason cant seem to bring myself out of it.

Some girls, especially at younger ages, seem to think penises the size of coke cans are commonplace, mostly because guys make large cock jokes and they don't know whether to believe them or not. Other guys straight out lie. Either way, most of those girls have never attempted to shove a coke can up their hole, so just chalk it up to them being ill-informed and completely clueless on the subject of penis size. Eye sight is a poor man's ruler.

You are past the high average, man. Your penis is big by all rights. It might not be huge, but it is big.

The only other issue I have is I have a really tight circumcision. So tight, that the scrotum skin is pulled up the shaft during an erection (aka turkey neck/penoscrotal web). I feel like this contributes to my self image problem as I feel it makes my erection look smaller especially from the underside. I can't tell if its just me being delusional or an actual problem. Who the hell knows at this point haha.

I hear you man, but cock size isn't everything. Think of the guys women stereotypically idolize. Like Tom Cruise. They like him because they think he's hot. They like his appearance and his persona, and yes, they want to have sex with him.

Think about making yourself the most desirable version of YOU. Sure, you're on this PE site to help yourself out a bit, but even at the size you're at right now, imagine being the confident dude capable of giving your girl the best O of her life, and wanting only to come back for more!

Well, that's the kind of reaction I'm looking for.

EDIT: Just read your circumcision comment. Are you looking to restore? Plenty of guys are trying to restore their foreskins. But I don't think that will help the turkey neck much. That's a separate issue, but a common one too. Does it bother you that much? I don't see it as a major concern, just part of the anatomy where the scrotum attaches.
