Dunno. I've hit nearly 7.5 base girth before after a good pump session (that day I used my old Hercules AND my VacuTech).
Alternating days on your routine would be good - whatever feels right for you and whatever maintains good PIs. I used my Hercules nearly every day for almost two months and it was great - got good results.
While 8x6 is the stated "ideal" size, I'm looking for a bit more - but NOT 8x8! LOL!! 8" girth? Nah - I still WANT to have sex with my gf

Well, haven't been able to successfully use my Bathmate yet. I just can't seem to get suction on my fat pad. Maybe it's all the pubes? I really don't know, doesn't matter how long I pump for. I also see air bubbles coming from the direction of my fat pad when it does get a little suction. Hopefully I can work this thing out.
For best suction, shave pubes or trim really low. You should see no air bubbles.

I am currently using a Kaplan pump and it has worked well thus far but I was wondering if any one has used a conventional pump system prior to the bathmate and what differences you have noticed between the two, as I am considering getting a bathmate in the future.

Unless you start to see your erection bending that direction, I wouldn't worry about it. Pumping tends to straighten your cock, to a small degree.
Well?? How about some feed back big guy. I have been considering a Goliath, but not sure if I'm big enough to use it. Don't want to waste the money. I think i may be a little big for the Hercules. It would be nice if they sold a model in between.
If you're under 6" in girth, I would probably picking up the Hercules, unless you're over 8" in length, in which case you have to get the Goliath. I think an in-between size is supposed to be in the works, but not sure on the ETA.
i think its coming out late 2011 to early 2012
(think it will be call the Bathmate Maximums, it will be 20% bigger then the Hercules and 10% smaller then the Goliath)
just remember its 6 inch + for BASE GIRTH or 8inch + (in length) to go to the Goliath
i have one and its kool, but its heavy and the shower strap don't really help that much (for me)
biggest problem is the fat pad.
try these it could save you some cash,
Universal Pump Sleeve (just type that into google)
some guys that start getting the base rings bought that and they said that it made it more comfortable and got rid of the rings around the penis and the red ring on the pelvic bone

and 0.4 inches is FUCK ALL in length, (you might even hit the big 8 inches on your first pump) so imo don't go for the Hercules,

I'm getting less suction out of my bathmate than a $2 whore. I've only tried it in the shower so far, I don't know what is going on.
It could be that your pubes may be hindering the seal. Make sure you are shaved or at least trimmed very low.

i just tried it then you can use vaseline on the comfort ring, sounds weird but it works

Be careful with any oil based lubes - they will break dowthe ring faster. Check the BathMate site for specifics. I've read on other forums where the bases were just ripping apart. Don't know about you but these things are a bit too expensive to keep purchasing.

on there site they have "water based lube" for sale sayin that it can be used with the Bathmate
i tyred using "Wet Stuff" but is not as good as the Vaseline IMO
