Farting. Strange as it sounds.

I had a rather severe injury some time ago which caused any sort of flatulence to be quite difficult. As a result every time I fart I perform a reflexive rear kegel. Does anyone else with Pre-E do this? Also my involuntary kegels which I hold throughout the day tend to be rear. So to any of my Pre-E brothers in the struggle, have you noticed which involuntary kegel you hold most often?

Front to back imbalance does happen, but it is less common than kegel to reverse kegel imbalance. I can explain the little known theory of 4 way balance if there is interest.

As you know I believe in balance in the pelvic floor ,the classic imbalance is kegel to reverse kegel, strength to relaxation, yin to yang if you will.
You also know that we can think in terms of 2 forms of kegel, front and back and 2 forms of reverse kege,l front and back.
Ok, so 4way theory, holds that an imbalance may occur between any of these, like the 4 corners of a square.
In your case there might be an imbalance between front and back standard kegel as well as kegel to reverse kegel.

Connor, I was curious, when you used "reflexive" as an adjective to describe your reverse kegel was it drawn from a known list of terms or just a word you chose to describe your specific kegel. I am trying to classify these different types of kegels more so that I understand them more.

Not reverse, rear. Relating to the 4 way balance theory. I say reflexive just as it would be used to describe trying to catch something that has fallen off of a desk before it hits the ground. Is it necessary? Probably not but you do it anyway. After I fart my rear kegel occurs ( I clench my anus). Maybe the original post was too short, but its straight to the point.

The implication in your case Connor is to increase front standard kegel , decrease back standard kegel and increase both reverse. When you stretch a tight muscle it often twirches and narks up ,I suspect this is whar is happening in the fart context as you are doing a back reverse kegel (though not isolated).

Youre right connor I simply misread. I perfectly understand your situation now and I believe I've had this same thing happen to me before. I believe its what Pegasus just said about how muscles will twitch and knot up if they are tight or in your case injured. I think I notice this very kind of sensitivity if I have a difficult bowel movement in terms of being oddly shaped or hard to pass. Afterward for a period of time I might have this same reaction you have.

For the time being Im simply hoping I can learn to differentiate between the two reverse kegels, I can barely do one in general.

I think I have PE and too fart I have to force my farts out usually, as I used to hold in farts all the time as a kid at school and such, is that related? fuck, i hope i didn't permanently fuck up my PE and farting by doing that.

Mystic I don't think that would cause PreE. The post is about a reflexive rear kegel as a result of the anus relaxing out of its usually contracted state, which many guys with PreE seem to have. For all I know it could be a GI disorder. I just wanted to see if other PreE brethren had a similar experience to find common symptoms so as to better understand and design routines for treatment.
