Trump is now claiming that during his administration, the government was more responsive to provide disaster relief and that the Biden Administration doesn’t have enough funds for relief because they used the funds for immigrant relief. The latter is blatantly untrue as evidenced by Governor Kemp’s thank you for Biden‘s help provided. I guess Trump forgot that Puerto Rico waited months before getting significant relief and that Trump intentionally delayed providing relief to California because he considered it a blue state. Also, Don’t forget about the Sharpie altered Dorian directional map.

Trump makes absurd and blatantly false claims just as a matter of course. It's how he does business. It's funny how they're often so outrageous, while also so easily proven wrong. Most people just won't bother to fact check.

Having said that... Let's not overlook the fact that your chosen team is guilty of false statements, too. Walz isn't afraid to utter his own BS from time to time. Just sayin...

Congress gave FEMA 20 billion a few months ago; where did that money go?
And didn't Mayorkas say a few months back that FEMA was well prepared for the hurricane season and now he says we don't have enough money for another storm? WTF????

Disaster Relief Fund money has not been diverted to other, non-disaster related efforts. However, In a preliminary damage estimate released on Thursday, the private forecaster AccuWeather pegged the financial cost of Hurricane Helene’s damages at $225 to $250 billion, more than double what it estimated in the first days after the storm made landfall in Florida last week. Accordingly, $20 billion isn’t going to go to far.

They haven't even spent the money yet but looking for more. Now Mayorkas said in July, on video that FEMA was well prepared for the season and 3 days after the storm said money is gone; I know he didn't know hurricanes could cause lot of damage although I think it's part of the job description

They don't have relief funds for Americans but they keep giving billions to Israel and Ukraine.

Both parties suck big hairy balls

We need a 3rd option

Altogether, the federal government spends more than $1.1 trillion a year on 134 welfare programs. State and local governments add about $744 billion more.

Everybody wants to see spending reduced. Well... Except for the spending on the things they like.
Like these , perhaps:
...economic assistance to new home buyers, early childhood care, and new small business star-ups.
And it's been shown time and time again that:
to increase taxes on billionaires and corporations.
doesn't help and only makes things worse.

Most billionaires pay little to nothing because they know how to manipulate the system.

If they all payed a flat rate, this would provide billions of dollars, even at only 10%

The last time I washed my car, it rained. Oops.

The TCJA was 2017. The highest deficit was 2020. Something happened in between. Hmm...
The cost of the 2017 TCJA would have taken about 10 years to equal the spending increase in 2020.
Are you sincerely implying that the one caused the other???

But your answer did sort of make my point, didn't it? Instead of addressing the spending proposals, you came at it from the, "Let's just take more money from people we don't like" angle. Like I said... Everybody wants to cut spending, just so long as it doesn't affect the things they want to spend on.

I watched a podcast a few minutes ago. The guest was saying that the Speaker of the house has the authority to re allocate funds. After watching this. I am very disappointed of the speaker. Just another sell out selfish politician.

The Speaker doesn't have that kind of unilateral authority.

Well I would imagine you are referring to the Trump tax cuts. If you go to the IRS website you will find that the middle class got a bigger cut percentage wise than the billionaires.
If billionaires get all the breaks why hasn't Biden/Harris not propose one bill to Congress to change that?

From the useless head of Homeland Security!
Who's paying for the Illegal Aliens' $300-night hotel room stays in places like downtown New York?

The conspiracy scar tactics and lies continue to emerge regarding FEMA’s action to aid the victims of Helena.
Federal support for survivors of Hurricane Helene has now surpassed $210 million, reflecting the Biden-Harris Administration’s commitment to helping impacted communities recover and rebuild. FEMA remains focused on coordinating comprehensive recovery efforts across the Southeast, mobilizing resources and personnel to provide immediate and long-term support to those affected. Republican Governor Cooper has thanked The Biden Adminstration for the help being sent to North Carolina.

Administrator Criswell has directed FEMA’s Deputy Director Erik Hooks to travel to North Carolina today to support response and recovery efforts while she travels to Florida. There, she will meet with local and state officials as she directs the federal response on the ground and prepares for the impacts of Hurricane Milton, which is expected to make landfall on the Gulf Coast of Florida on Wednesday evening as a major hurricane. Administrator Criswell will return to North Carolina this evening.

Biden and Harris are twats, 220 million isn't sh*t. They give Billions to the chosenites and Ukraine.

Any real administration would cut the billions to take care of citizens.

I am not claiming the Republicans were any better. They passed a bill for the tiny hats for 385 billion over 10 years

Truth is, we are a Zionist Occupied government and it doesn't matter who controls the white house. One thing for sure is that control of the Whitehouse is not a presidents job.

We need to cut off both Israel and Ukraine and then take care of our border and our drug issues
