I would like to give my experience with the Priapus Shot. I reside in southern Missouri and had the procedure done in Paragould Arkansas. It was the nearest facility that was certified to give it. It has been over a year since I had it done. The cost for me at the time was 700 dollars for one visit. My reason for having it done was in hopes of not having to used ED drugs anymore or to the extent that I have to use them. For this...it failed miserably. But in all fairness to the doctor who gave me the shot...I was told this may be the case considering some factors. He was a well informative doctor and was thorough about explaining things. First off...I had recently quit smoking. It was within a week or two of having the procedure done. I was told by the doctor that smoking is the worst thing for said procedure because it limits the platelet count they could get from me to run through the centrifuge for reinjection. Let me step back many years before I continue. Many years being....I am currently 45 and going back to when I was a teen and young adult. As a teen, I was around 8.5 inches in length. When I got married at 19...I had an incident occur with my wife where my penis broke. By broke I mean that during this incident I hear a pop sound and immediately experienced much pain in my penis. Upon looking...I saw my penis was all black and blue looking. I was too embarrassed to go to the doctor and never did. Unfortunately this was not a very good choice. From that point on my erections were not very productive and within 6 months of that time my penis when erect had shrank for 8.5 to around 7.5 inches. Through the years I had further shrank to 6.75 partially erect inches with the aid of many years on things like the blue pill. So much time on such type of pills that I believe it was affecting my eyesight as well as other things and they were a hit or miss anyway when it came to erections of any sort. So I was hoping the Priapus Shot would help this and I could take these pills less often or not at all. Due to this history and the fact that I smoked as recently as within a week of the procedure...the doctor informed me that I may not have any results or if I do...they probably would not be the big hope I was looking for. He informed me that many men were using this for growth. He also informed me that if I did get growth initially...that it could subside. He was correct on all counts. As far as erection improvement....I got nothing out of it. He had told me I would need to use a pump following the procedure in an attempt to keep growth factors in my penis to aid in growth and rebuilding of tissue to improve erection or growth. SO I did. Believe this or not but within a few weeks, I had gained to between 8.75 -9 inches when erect. Erection still required medication exclusively and still does to this day. Now as far as the gains...over time the receded to where I am at now...which is 7.75 - 8 inches erect. But I also had returned to smoking after my mother had passed and I was frustrated over the erection issue. So I did maintain gains that I was even really after...and I have wondered if the shot had merely aided in restoring an atrophied penis to near a size it was I was younger. I did contact the doctor to inquire about another shot. He informed me that he believes I am one that this shot will work on but I must quit smoking up to 3 months before he would give me another shot. I have yet to quit smoking again. But he seems to think that with the results I did get...that if I quit smoking...that not only may it help with growth again....but that I might actually see results with the erection issues. He also advised that until then...that I consult with a Urologist about Caverjact. He was impressed that I got anything out of it at all. Since all this occurred...It has made me interested in growth as well as tissue repair. I'd be happy to get back to where I was when I was a young man. I do have an extender now and have had for about 8 months but can't see to wear it comfortably to get any good use out of it and am still out the expense of pills for getting intimate.
