Hey DJ are you done with Extending? Do you no longer feel it is of benefit to you??

Also, have you ever thought or coming up with a pulley system that would allow you to hang at the BTC angle while standing?!?

I'm definitely not done with extending! I think there is benefit, but I have a goal with what I'm doing with ball weights that I'm working on first (and I've tried already, but ball weights and extending at the same time doesn't mix well). It's something I'll be doing again sometime in the future without a doubt.

A wall-mounted pulley would work great for BTC while standing, though I haven't personally tried it. I really like the seated Straight Out hanging with the pulley as it allows me to get a lot done on the computer while I hang!

Congrats on the gain :) All the best man. I hope i'll see a gain soon too!

Thanks, I greatly appreciate it
I'm rooting for you. As any seasoned PE'r knows, patience is a virtue! Keep putting in the effort and I'm sure you'll continue to make some kind of positive progress!

Yes but isn't BTC so much better for stretching the suspensory ligaments thus adding the most length?!?

Also wanted to ask you if the LG hanger has less negative effect on EQ compared to the BIB?

BTC is probably more effective, you are correct. But I have to be able to multitask to make time for PE, and seated SO allows me to do this the most effectively.

As far as EQ goes, both the Bib and LG have a positive impact on my EQ. The more time I put in hanging the more insane my EQ is (though this doesn't appear to be the norm for most)

don , hanging seated SO with pulley now .17.5lbs x 20 min sets . I see you say 1 hour . can I hang longer than 20 min sets safely . seem to handle the weight very easily at this angle.

It's definitely safe with the LG
With a Bib though sets longer than 20 minutes are quite dangerous and risky as the bloodflow is greatly reduced (and even stopped in some instances)!

1.5 hours hanging seated SD @ 10 lbs

Total LG time: 107.5 hours

sh*t.
sh*t sh*t sh*t sh*t sh*t.
2 more vacuum blisters. This is the first time it's happened at only 10 lbs. and the first time I had no cues they were forming. One is fairly small but the other is very large. This was with brand new wrap and everything!

I think the problem is that the LG is a parallel dome shape inside, but the glans are tapered. The area where I keep getting blisters are the areas where there is the greatest difference between the glans taper and the parallel sides of the dome.

I'm loving the results of these long sets (gain wise) but I'm sick of getting blisters every week or two. It seems that as soon as one heals up, I get another. I can hang for 4 hours one day with no problems only to get a blister the next day in 1/4 the time. I'm getting ready to throw this thing in the trash and just make my own that matches my exact curves and taper to put an end to this nonsense

Just finished ordering the materials that I'm going to use to create a castable LG-style hanger. The total came to $101.78 and probably is enough material to make a dozen hangers (I'll find a use for the leftovers!)

I bought:
- An alginate to cast a mold of my penis
- A flexible silicone to make a copy of my penis from the mold that will be made from the alginate
- A clear epoxy to cast the actual hanger from the mold

I really like the LG and it has opened my eyes, but I'm starting to find that a simple milled cylinder doesn't offer enough of a custom fit to keep the risk of vacuum blisters low. I will be fully documenting my attempt at making a better version, as I'm completely sick of vacuum blisters at this point. Wish me luck!

All materials were ordered from Smooth-On. Here is a breakdown of the materials:
Products Model Tax Price (ex) Total (ex) Total (inc)
1 x EpoxAcast 690 - Trial Size
10017194 0% $33.42 $33.42 $33.42
1 x Alja-Safe Alginate - 3 lbs.
10006114 0% $21.83 $21.83 $21.83
1 x Ecoflex 00-30 Trial Kit
10007010 0% $30.10 $30.10 $30.10
Sub-Total: $85.35
United Parcel Service (1 x 13lbs) (Ground
Please Note: If you require expedited shipping, PLEASE CALL US PRIOR TO PLACING YOUR ORDER at 1-800-762-0744 during our business hours of 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern Stan $16.43
Total: $101.78

Hey don, do you think that the cause of your blisters could be due to some other variable? Also, after these sets are you finding the head of your penis to be red throughout the remainder of the day/night?

Dude, as you know, you can use the ecoflex 00-30 for a whole lot of stuff.

I'm very interested in your results and lessons-learned.

Just added another product:

Products Model Tax Price (ex) Total (ex) Total (inc)
1 x OOMOO 30 - Trial Size
10002579 0% $25.47 $25.47 $25.47

I'm not going to count the separate shipping for this one though, since it wouldn't have significantly impacted the total shipped price if I would have ordered it with the rest of the supplies

I'm going to use the OOMO 30 to make the mold for the actual body of the hanger (as opposed to the supplies I ordered earlier, which are to be used to make a mold of my penis, which will leave the negative impression in the final hanger body)

Confusion is just a byproduct of the fact that we all react differently. IMO, hanging is as safe as any other PE regardless of experience. The key is just to have patience and take it slow while you learn how you react.

In your situation, you may be best served by making a DIY hanger like the Captain's Wench to see if you even like it before spending significant money on a commercial hanger. You can then weigh cost vs. reward and decide how you should proceed from there.

Good luck!

Thanks for your input. Like you said, patience is the key (I also read this in another thread this morning)...I will keep on working at it and keep on persisting! And thank you for your suggestion regarding the Captn's Wrench. I did read about it a while back but had forgotten about it! I will head to the hardware store and see what items I can pick up. I love how the instructions are so clear as to what to buy, where from etc, but being here in Aus, the brands and stores are different; I hope that I can find the appropriate products!

And good luck in creating your own LG styled hanger! I give props to anyone that is hands on like that. I'm more of a thinker than a do-er when it comes to creating things. I can understand concepts, I just can't translate it into a physical form!

Cheers

Rest/recovery while blister site heals. I should be able to start back up light tomorrow.

I'm going to start building the buck today for my castable LG-style hanger mold. The buck will define what the outside of the hanger looks like, and it will only take a couple of hours (tops) to make. I'll start a separate thread on it soon.

Hello Don,

Have you been using 3M micropore tape for your wrap or have you been using the Co-Flex/ACE bandage?
My LG arrived last week but I'm reluctant to begin until I have the time.

Have all your blisters occurred whilst hanging SO?
I ask this because I've noticed many men get blisters when they hang SO. Hanging with a Vacu-Hanger I got all mine from a SO set-up. I wonder if the gravitational force of SD or BTC effects the blood flow, fluids, nerves, skin, and gland to a lesser extent. Just a thought, yet there may be something to it.

If I understand you correctly, after 100 hours with the LG you're tossing it away and you're making a custom made copy of the LG? Sounds a bit impulsive and ambitious, but if there's anyone that can pull it off it's you :)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I have had the blisters happen both during SO and SD hanging. I think part of it is my physiology, as I have a strong taper to my glans, and I think this plays into it more than anything

Thanks again for stopping by

I may have over-reacted a bit! I didn't really toss the LG away (though at the time I would have liked to!). I am definitely building a custom-fit version though, and I'm detailing it in the devices forum. I'll probably start back up with the LG in the next day or so while I finish a true custom fit version.

I will update how things go!
Thanks for the vote of confidence :)
