I remember some post someone made a while back saying doing a sort of penis massage for about 15 minutes caused the release of some enzyme or something that caused the tunica to temporarily change for a short while, the gist was that massaging before a session allowed for a better session for you tunica. I'm not sure if there was any credence and can't remember it too well, but you could do a search if you're interested.

Also, for recovery, I suppose you could argue that massaging increases blood flow and could speed up recovery a wee bit, the same as just light jelqing.

Think of massage as a form of myofascial release therapy...which I feel is something that needs to be studied greatly for our enlargement goals. Myofascial release therapy uses techniques of working out and massaging fascia to allow the fascia to relax and expand. Some forms of PE (jelq) could be considered myofascial release massage. I would really love to sit down with a certified practitioner or have one as a consultant/trainer with my PE efforts.

I run a heat pad on off days and a messager over that. Its an electric heat pad and a separate electric messager. I also use this on work out days to get me ready for some intense jelqing, bending, and ulies. I think it has helped. There are lots of little things you can do that add up to a bigger thang.

I do a really short massage for maybe 20 sec after every 25 jelqs when doing them...I do this to try and minimise the chance for blood clots appearing cause of the jelqing...

But soft and gentle massage always helps for minimising the risk of injuries and helps the recovery for every part of the body,not sure if this applies to the penis but it probably does,so why not do it...

Ofcourse it does, but c'mon buddy ... the last thing in the world I want to do after an hour long PE session is give my penis a massage.

I'm talking about throughout the day or off days or whenever you feel like it.
