I had a p.e. pal who suggested (seriously) I become a "solo granddaddy" porn king. Ha, ha, ha. I could not stop laughing. If I DID try out for it--- sh*t!! My dick flags when I try to take a pic of it.

From what I've read, these guys' posts are right on target--It is a depressing, empty, disease-filled industry. For some, the only thing I can compare it to is the life of a true sex addict--a lonely spin downwards into hell--just like any addiction.

I think some people have tried it and got out of it before it took them down.

I wouldn't want to be in porn as a profession.

However I can truthfully say Id like to star in just one movie, the kind where it doesn't show the guys face. It would be interesting just to see how many views or comments it gets haha.

I wouldn't like to be in a contract or on cam for a director. However I would like to shoot my own movies with women for private use.

Kind of like a hobby, right?
Exactly, I would love that then I could use all my money from everyday job on something else not women.

Size doesn't matter as much as other things, it's more important for actors to stay hard for all those hours under the lights and cameras and other bullshit or the whole shooting is delayed. I don't think most men could do that, get an erection with a bunch of dudes watching and waiting for you.

Not to mention male porn actors earn around $40,000 a year, pretty fucking awful compared to what you expect. Big name male pornstars would obviously be able to make millions of dollars, but this is probably confined to just a handful.

Excellent points, DC. That was one of the big things brought out in one of the documentaries - guys being able to get hard at a moment's notice, STAY hard during 'down time' AND do it in front of a bunch of other people. Even when there's only 4 people on the set (including the actors), a lot of guys couldn't function for the camera, hence the drugs and enhancement meds. The cash was better than $40,000 but not much. Females make more hands down but not millions (only a very elite number have reached that status - only the producers and owners make that kind of money) - unless you're a well known heavy hitter, your cock is basically lookd at as a set prop for the female.

You guys are talking about and only been exposed to the worst elements of porn.

Think about it. Where is the drama in showing the 'fruits' of porn. None. There is never going to be a hard hitting documentary about success that shows the good sides of porn. No media is interested in that.

The companies that make millions of dollars and want to keep their male and female stars happy to keep making amazingly successful porn movie do so.

The amateur crap is where its a degrading filthy living. Stars have to endure those 6 months of crappy wannabe sites in order to get to the better paying better treating gigs. Sites like bang bros when they started for instance. That would have been a nightmare job until it became famous.

Additionally there are more risks from being promiscuous in the real world as far as disease. Any credible porn studio requires a full certified STD test. One every shoot, so basically once a week or bi-weekly. No one in real life ever frequents a clinic that often. and no one asks the girl they just picked up at a bar to prove they are clean before they fuck her on the first night. They may use intercourse protection but what if the girl had mouth based herpes? Then when she sucks you before the rubber goes on you probly get tagged with an STD.

There IS more risk in real life sexual encounters than (credible) porn industry. This is a proven by research fact. Ask any professional porn star, male or female they trust the process they go through over real life honor system lol Just thought I should clear some of this exaggerated nonsense up.

As someone said, you can get some STD even while scoring at the disco.

Yes, I had this fantasy for years (and still do, as a porn addict trying to quit). But never planned it really.
I would do it, I wouldn't care about showing my face. My body's thin, but well shaped. The downside is that I have a banana dick. Nice to satisfy real girls, but not for porn.
Not being a perfect fit bull, I'd do the crazy filthy trashy sh*t. Without a director, just by myself and some friend with a nice HD camera. Paying the girls by myself (risky, but hey.)
I'm quite perverted and nowadays more and more people are falling into porn addictions. They want it.

And oh... I don't know how much the US life does cost, but 20k $ in a year would not be bad.

Hmmm ... so have you actually been involved in the industry - either in front or behind the camera? Because most of what some of these documentaries talk about in detail is about what goes on in the larger production companies (yes, the documentaries are all pretty much anyone here has any exposure to and probably care to have exposure to) - they do not talk about or even care to cover the amateur stuff. The people talking into the camera were some of the biggest names in front of the camera, behind the camera, and the executives behind the desk. So I highly doubt any of the nonsense is made up since it is, in fact, coming straight from all the horse's mouths.

A lot of successful companies are "amateur" I don't mean the category amateur like homemade porn..... I'm meaning studios that don't have secretaries and catering and big budgets. A small band on people do multiple jobs and hire freelance videographers/photographers to operate. Think of it like in the film industry. Over 60% of porn is like indie films. Being made for pennies with everyone looking to advance chipping in at well below what they should.

I'm going to give you an analogy that I want you to ingest without sensationalism.

Whatever documentary and big names you think are giving you the supposed scoop I can easily counter with common sense numbers, but at the end of the day, think of this...

You are in a crowded club and everyone is having fun. No one is getting hurt, and then over in the corner at 3am when most people are gone a girl gets in a fight because some other girl hit on the guy she was talking to. She glasses this women in the chaos of a hair pulling fight. The girl goes to prison and the glassed women is scarred for life. Both lives ruined or severely changed.

Now it would be easy for some bullshit story to come along and call glassing an epidemic tearing at the hearts and flesh of a society. But in calm reflection without sensationalism, only 2 people didn't have fun that night. For all we know thousands who came and left that club, engaging in that risky situation (boozed up people around each other) and came through fine thinking it was an awesome night.

Parallel this to these documentaries and the stories that come out after terrible incidents. It's obvious they are trying to "sell" an argument to you, and you are just blindly buying every word of it. Not thinking about the 95% of people that weren't glassed, or went to prison - and got througt the night fine.

Just saying. There is more risk in real life sex acts. And more stupid decisions made in real life by people who don't take STD tests once a fortnight. But alright, believe the so called anti-porn protagonists ;) Coz nah their not making sensationalism out of the rare exception to get out of the industry and shake of their own stigmas, and become ambassadors for rights and such...no alterior motives ever happened out of people talking on a documentary :p hehe

Good point alyssa... buuuuuut.
I just don't like porn. I get pissed off at bad acting. REALLY mad actually. I have issues watching bad films (minus anything with Bruce Campbell). I get mad that the actors lie about their stats as well.
Honesty is a thing that is hard to find in any film industry...

I see your point as well. And yes, the "controlled" environment of porn may or may not be safer than sex on the "outside". BUT (and a very big but), the nature of the sex itself lends to be more conducive to the detrimental effects. Because of the fact that is such a closed environment, things can and have spread at a faster pace (speaking of disease). And I don't think it's sensationalism when those on the outside (the reporters and the "protagonists") are only echoing what's being said on the inside.
Again, unless you are actually behind the curtain, none of us (including you and me) will never really know how the industry really is. Right?

I don't make any money. Occasionally I get some work at summers but that's about it. It's actually the main reason I don't do or even try anything with women, premature ejaculation and inexperience actually is not that important.

Go to school get a decent education then make your $$$. Your not going to get paid much doing porn.

Don't personally think my dicks big enough to get into it, but if someone came up to me knowing my size and suggested i get into it and showed me how to go about it, being a student, easy money for me id happily do it every so often for extra cash lol. Plus i can fuck for quite a while, seeing a lovely new girl atm with a really small little pussy and i lasted at least 30 mins easily, think that would be long enough for a porn star.
