Condoms make me go soft. Advice? Help!!!

Hi all,

I was about to have sex, and i was fully erect w/o a condom on, and once I put one on, it makes me lose my erection.
I'm not sure why either. Could it be mental or physical?
Also, someone knocked on my door when I was about to start, so it kinda got me worried.

But I've had this condom issue in the past and I'm 18 years old and I get erections just fine otherwise except with a condom. I've managed to deal with it in the past but this time, especially with someone knocking on my door (i'm in a college dorm room), it just threw me off too much.

Any advice? Like reduce masturbation or get used to the feeling of a condom?

It happens. This issue may be psychological or even physical where the lack of oxygen or the condom fibers may not go well with your penis. You are not the first or even the last. Unfortunately, condoms don't allow for air constricting any semen from escape unless it is breached.

lol so apart from waiting for that condom to be released, is there any advice you guys have?

i was considering buying them and just getting fully comfortable with using them.

to be honest, just make sure they don't hurt...

They don't hurt me, so I guess it might be psychological? I suppose just the idea of interrupting a natural course of sex to put something on thats rubbery

yeah I have this problem with latex condems its like I cant feel anything. Try lifestyles skyn condoms made of polyisoprene or the trojan equivelant non latex condoms and do a goolge search on best feeling condoms or something thats how i found them. They are infinately better and tbh im surprised any one who uses condoms wouldnt have done some research into the best condom for sensation.
