I guess my initial response to them is that they look like they might hurt (at least the metal ones and some of the tight-looking rubber ones). Around the shaft. Behind the ball is not safe, because you are constricting the veins coming from your balls. That could lead to varicocele.

I appreciate the advice; however, I am cautious and fairly experienced. I have been doing it for more than 10 years without a serious problem. Developed a blister a number of years ago which taught me to release the band and refresh the blood at least every 20 minutes. I think the band around both the shaft and scrotum together spreads the constriction out somewhat and reduces the pressure on the scrotum as opposed to a tight constriction just around the scrotum.

If you have experience, then you should be fine. I am personally extra careful with my veins, because I had surgery for varicocele after brutal military training. I don't worry that much about fertility, but more about aesthetics; when you have varicocele, your balls hang very low, the never go up, and you can see the damaged veins protruding from the scrotum.

Just wish they made them more powerfull with longer lasting battery, the upside down position provides me with stimulation around the balls.

One thing I have done is swap bullet vibrators between rings. They are all about the same size, so if you can find a good powerful one, you can use it on all your cock rings. Also, some bullets are waterproof and some are not (if you want to try one in the tub). My lover and I bought several cock rings to try, and one of the bullets is much stronger than the others, so I moved it around. If you read reviews of various rings online, you can see which ones have good vibes and which don't. Buy at least one that has a great bullet, then you can use it in other rings which may have more interesting shapes.
