I've started back with girth work in conjunction with vacuum hanging and I'm planning on adding clamping into the mix. Should I add clamping to my manual girth circuit or focus just on clamping when I start???

Well you could clamp while edging as part of your manual workout. Just start slowly and watch your penis closely. Pay very close attention to your PIs. You will very much enjoy this ride Nerd.

Waited patiently to try it! What about clamping set durations in the beginner? I've read one source say, start at 5mins and then another says 10mins starting out.

It never hurts to go lower in the beginning. Start with 5 minutes and see how you respond. Just like I recommend 1/2 the JP90 to start. It is always easier to start slowly and slowly add just like you did with hanging. Safety first, we want to keep seeing that healthy penis at the naked nerd parties:D.

Start at five and see how it feels. Clamping is scary at first. But once you get comfortable with it, you'll figure out what safely works for you.

We've now got members proving that 50 minutes can be done safely. A cable clamp isn't a perfect tourniquet and doesn't cut off circulation 100%. Safety is vital, and so I don't recommend extended clamping sessions. Just saying that it can be done safely for well over 10 minutes.

Like everything else PE, you follow safety rules first, get used to your own PIs, and then adjust your techniques accordingly.

You're welcome Nerd! I should say that although I don't "recommend" extended clamping, I am working towards that goal myself. I think long sessions of clamped edging is going to prove to be the holy grail of girth exercises.

You are welcome Nerd, and yes I am way over the time line, but I started slow. Follow your own PIs and you will find your sweet spot.

I agree same goes for manual, at least when it comes to intensity longer duration's is what brings the fatigue.

Haha exactly dfc,do as we say not as we do :D

yeh lots of experience is required for longer sessions and read up this thread for anyone interested in edging their clamping sets into longer numbers...haha see what I did there.

Yup 5 or 10 minutes would be fine nerdy. Read the links I posted on first page of this thread. Clamp where there is engorgement but not complete restriction.

Yes, it is fine. Do however many your dick wants you to. If your dick keeps springing up and saying hello good sir, put that noose around my neck and pull tightly, then do it.

What about sets? 2, 3, or 4 starting out?

What is everyones opinnion on wearing a cockring after doing your clamping?

Does anyone do this and what benefits they have seen from it?

I have started wearing the ring of power after my clamping session, and while it is a little different to a cockring, it seems to be preventing turtling as bad as what I would normally be getting. My flaccid seems to be in a bit better shape.

I think it makes sense to use cockring after your clamping workout.

You get the expansion from your clamping sets and then put a cock ring which is allowing you to stay engorged while there is still decent bloodflow to your penis.

I also think that you can sort of warmdown with a cock ring with using heating pad or soaked in water wet cloth.
