Citrulline or arginine or both for erection quality

Hello, looking to restore erection quality to what it used to be. Many years of pmo and unintentional abstinence. I do not want to jump into a routine atm, so i am looking just for info on these two supplements. Ive read that citrulline is better, but also read that if i dont exercise then it wont help? Also, what about taking both of these at the same time? And do the dosage's have to be huge?

Side question, do extenders help with eq and overall blood flow?

from what i understand about the supplements you mention the cycle goes
L-Ornithine > L-Citrulline > L-Arginine

if i remember correctly Arginine doesnt even last long in the blood AND to get the most out of the supplement versions you have to take it on empty stomach. not saying its not good to take it, just one of those things. its is a "short term" item due to its place in the cycle i suppose.

Ornithine starts at the beginning and you wont get Arginine immediately obviously.

Imo though since I have taken all three (Ornithine/Citrulline/Arginine) I wouldnt use any of it. Just eat normal amounts of protein and you get normal amounts of that stuff for the most part.

I would think taking Maca (black, not red or yellow)+Tongkat Ali daily for a week or two would be the right thing though to fix EQ.

I take Maca (black) powder which i then put into pill form with Tongkat. sort of a half and half thing.

Tongkat Powder you can just search for i suppose. I got it from ZNaturalFoods. Which was probably ebay or amazon or something like that.

I use 00 size pills which I just buy from whoever is cheap. Last ones were from PipingRock.

Jelqing will really help you with EQ.

Also, all the herbs and amino acids you mention help. HOWEVER, it is very important that you're putting in your diet the necessary nutrients for sexual health. For example, you don't need only those 2 amino acids. YOU NEED 12 amino acids in total every day of your life. Also you need minerals, vitamins, and specifically for sex, YOUR BODY NEEDS fat and cholesterol. Make sure you're ingesting those nutrients on a daily basis.

Thanks for the maca link!! Ive been using the raw organic from swansonvitamins which is very good, but this site seems to be strictly specialized in maca with different colors and uses that I didn't even know they existed :)

I fully agree that you should have a nutrient rich diet along with plenty of hydration (water not gatorade or energy drinks) and exercise. Kegels, Reverse kegels and jelqing WILL help as well. For supplements, I'm only taking L-Argenine at the moment but I've heard that Maca root and horny goat weed combined are a natural form of viagra.

Sorry for the late response. Definately going to look at making sure i get all amino acids for each day.

I would still like some more opinions on l citrulline vs l arginine. I currently take l arginine + pycegentol, get decent results. Obviously would like to switch if it means getting better results.

I would really NOT like to turn this topic with this statement, but i tried the begginer 90 day program and i got a small blood blister/dark freckle on the tip of the glands that hasnt gone away. Not looking to get back into jelqing right now.

I got great results with 1000mg of L-Arginine per day, definately helped making my little man more vascular and increase erection quality

Hey abeautifulbeing,
If you are going to be taking either arginine or citrulline malate, definitely go with the citrulline. It's meant to last longer in the body and gets broken down into arginine so no point taking both supplements. Citrulline tastes amazing with juice like cranberry (make sure it's a juice with a low level of vitamin C as it can destroy the effects of some supplements) I take around 5g. It helps with EQ and also shooting massive loads. Plus it might help with flaccid hang.
Give it a go and see what you think.

You should combine PYCNOGENOL with either arginine or citrulline. It is the combination that works.

I find I get a better effect by using both L-arginine and L-citrulline. I base it on my flaccid hang. Right now I'm doing 2G L-argnine with 3G of L-cit in the morning and then do another 3G of L-cit later in the day before my workout.

There's some interesting things I've found by using L-cit. I can push myself harder during my weights workout and not have any muscle soreness the next day. Also, I think I might have stumbled on a huge hangover cure, if I take 9G of L-cit before I go party all night I literally have found the next morning I have very little hangover effects. YMMV but I'm going to take this stuff as long as I can.

BTW, L-cit is easy to take and doesn't taste super foul like L-arginine, I buy it from bulksupplements (through Amazon) in a kilo bag, super cheap.
