So Australia is a trading nation all the talk from Trump re disruption of trade has caused the Aussie dollar to slip. Lot of doom and gloom around on the international scence re various economies . Russia and Ukarine bioth in the Toilet due to war ,bad info coming out of China and the US the Uk still dealing with Brexit . Trump trying to bully all and sundry, only reaction so far has been the Uk PM telling him to run along.
The Aussie economy is going ok in itseld but is very open to external sources

The US has great terms of trade with Australia has had for many years .
The terms of trade will vary country to country .
Australia seems to have sorted out it's issues with it's biggest trade partner China despite the power differential .
Of course these things have to be sorted at various times I have reservations about how Trump is going about it .

It is regretable we didn't stick with the french subs they can be reliable . Perhaps we choose the wrong side when we stuck up for western values and ended up in a trade war . I notice we got no help during that trade war

Steel and aluminium last I heard mind you the situation is fast moving and errratic around Trump .
What is funny here is US has run a large trade surplus with Australia for many years .
China has run a loss and yet we supported US and general western way and China tried to slap us around with trade etc ,so tarrifs and the like . We rode it out aand it ended up hurting China more than us . Never the less there are those that claim we backed the wrong horse China is our biggest trade partner .
