Anyone found any cheaper effective hangers than the bib hanger?

Why not get a credit card? I paid 100 dollars with shipping to Canada and on the statement it doesn't say " penis hanger" lol I'm pretty sure I used PayPal too. I tried the wench and couldn't get it to work, so far the hardcore bib is the only way for me 
If you cannot afford a Bib Hanger consider a dog muzzle. No need to make/modify anything. Here is a link for one style that I used for months. It worked very well up to 20 lbs. This particular style requires no modifications and is ready to use. Just wrap, place muzzle on, use a cable clamp or two for securing and hang; it's that simple. Eventually the velcro strap on the muzzle will wear out so you'll need a replacement; consider getting at least two each time you purchase. Make sure you get the Xtra small one, it will accomodate up to 5.5 girth.

i went to my local hardware store and got some materials to make my own.
I use a some clear flexible braided PVC tubing (one a little smaller in diameter than the other), and a hose clamp. Works good, im at 9lbs now and its still holding strong.

Yupp the hardcore is for sure the best deal and best hanger. Maybe it's just me but I can never understand how people can't afford something as low priced and valuable as the bib hanger? Even if you can put 5 dollars away a day you will have it paid for in no time. Cut out bad habits like drinking, smoking an fast food, that will save you money. Maybe have a yard sale? Surely you have enough junk lying around to make $70.
Now there's a man who knows how to prioritize! You remind me of myself when I was selling life insurance. I'd meet with people who "could not afford" to increase their coverage (few more dollars a month) to make sure their loved ones were taken care of if something happened to them. Meanwhile, there's a financed big screen TV on the wall, 2 financed vehicles in their yard, they're over extended on all 5 of their credit cards, they eat out 3 nights a week, drink a few 6 packs a week, etc, etc.
It's amazing what people can afford when they want it.
