K...Tried it out for the first time this morning.
Not much of a learning curve. What I really like is the silicon tubing that comes along with all of the other stuff in this hanger.
This tubing is "tits up". It's heavy duty enough that it's not going to tear, very stretchy and there is enough to use as a 1 1/2" wide ring to go on the base of your penis to use as a constrictor band and also as a gripping point for the silicone tubing on the pump cylinder/dome. Also there is enough left to be able to replace, at some point, the tubing that's on the dome. Plus, enough to use as an anti turtleing sleeve. Marlon sends an extra foot of this silicon tubing. According to our conversation this morning, this is very expensive tubing at $27.00 a foot, so here is some of the value in the price. It is also very tacky, easy to stretch and get on your penis, very comfortable and makes those golf grip things look like some kind of small torture device.
Now for my review. I tried to attach pictures from Dr. Ric's page that shows all the components and step by step of how to set-up and use this device. It was in a PDF file and was not able to get them to attach here, so will call Dr. Ric and ask him to bring them here so everyone can see this product.
After following the instructions, I cut a piece of tubing 1 1/2" long and put it at the base of my penis. Next, I rolled the attached silicon tubing up over the acrylic dome, wrapped my glans with the provided (depending on brand, i.e. Kroger is 2" Tender Tape, CVS is Johnson & Johnson, No hurt tape) got it to stick to it's self into a neat little pad, this is to prevent any possible blistering of the meatus, inserted my penis to the bottom of the dome well.
I then unrolled the tubing down onto my shaft where the bottom of the tubing made perfect contact and laid on top of the 1 1/2" piece I had applied earlier.
I attached the 3 lb weight to the provided eyelet on top of the dome, connected the supplied pump to the quick connect on top and pumped to 10" HG. (about a half of a pump as not much air in the dome)
I stood up and let the weight hang free. VERY comfortable. I wore it for about 20 minutes, then hung some additional weights until I got up to 9 lbs. No sensation of slippage, no sense of pulling, no discomfort. I wore this set-up for about an additional 45 minutes. Took off all the weights and just checked everything out.
No discoloration of the glans, no lymph fluid buildup, no soreness or a feeling of needing to remove this. I sat down, read the paper, and decided to give it another session.
Hung for another 20 minutes or so, just using the 3 lb weight and would have gone longer except by this time, the coffee kicked in and I had to go pee. So, I rolled the tubing back up over the dome, removed the no hurt tape, left the 1 1/2" ring on at the base, checked my penis, no signs of anything wrong, circulation was good, no coldness. went pee and then I called Marlon. He told me that he uses the tubing as an anti-turteling sleeve. So I cut about a 5" piece and am wearing it now. He also said he sleeps with this tubing on and absolutely never turtles anymore.
All in all, I would give this device, on a 1-5...A 5.
As I said, I'm now going to call Dr. Ric and see if we can't get some pictures here. (jP
EDIT: I misheard Marlon. The silicon tubing is $100.00 for 10 feet, so $27.00 per foot. not $100.00 per foot, sorry, my brain was on overdrive when I wrote that review.
