I'm thinking about investing in a device or two, but there seem to be a lot of options. First a lot of different devices that serve different purposes obviously, but also different brands from the same device type. Hence, I was curious what has been your experience with devices? Concretely, which devices have you used so far (device type and model)? Would you recommend it (did it work? what did you like or dislike?)?

It depends on what your goals are. I’ve used a bathmate x 30 pump for years and I very much enjoy it. Big fan of pumping and helps with girth a lot.

Pumping helped me gain over an inch in EG and an extender plus 3 months of hanging helped me gain just under an inch in EL.

The only device I have purchased is the Bathmate Hydromax 8. The website said it would fit anyone between 6 to 8 inches. It did recommend the Hydromax 7 for me as the best fit but I was afraid l would outgrow it too quickly, so I got the Hydromax 8 for longevity. Before I started (Oct 2024) I was 6.5” BPEL and 5” in girth, today I’m 6.9” BPEL and 5.3” in girth. Until recently I hadn’t done anything other than pumping, I’m now doing pumping and manual stretches.

I do like the device but I would probably get the hyrdoxtreme if I were to do it again. It has the handball attachment so you don’t have to keep pressing into your pelvis which at times isn’t too comfortable. In saying that, with the Bathmate there’s no way to gauge how much pressure you’re using, so I personally think the safest option is an air pump with a pressure gauge.

As for length devices, I haven’t tried anything yet but I probably will start with compression hanging or vacuum hanging as it seems to provide the fastest results.

My erect increases have been great to see but the flaccid increase have been awesome too. I’m not certain what my starting flaccid size was but now it’s 5.1” FL and 4.5” FG.

Overall, I’m happy with the results so far and so is my wife! Haha That’s my two cents on the matter. There is a ton of guys here with decades of experience and wisdom and I’m sure they’ll be able to help guide you!

Practically all my length gains have come from pumping, which surprised me. I’ve only been doing manual stretching for 2 months or so. Pumping seems to work both length and girth at the same although its design is focused more on increasing girth. I’m afraid I don’t have enough experience to advise anyone on breaking through plateaus. I’m sorry that I can’t help you there. I’m still very new to all this.

I would have to say that pumping generate little in the form of length. It was hanging that I believe was the most effective means in gaining length. Unfortunately privacy prevented me from using hanging for more than three months yet I did gain a little more than 1/4” during that period. I do believe pumping was responsible for over 1” in girth gains, though it took over five years. I started with a 1,5” cylinder and slowly increased cylinder sizes by about 1/8” per increment until I began packing a 2” cylinder.

I’m a fan of TM’s products. But to be frank, I got most of my gains early on, using manual methods.

I grew at different times… I got length early on using manual stretches, it wasn’t until I started hanging that I gain 0.5 girth… now I’m pumping and I’ll see where that goes.

Problem I had with pumping was the cylinder. I have a huge mushroom head, so I have to use a large cylinder to get my shaft into it. Plenty of space.

I’m not sure if that is a bad thing though.

Lots of space will give you girth expansion but maybe not length. Will also increase risk of edema.

I have used various Bathmates, the Penomet and regular cylinder pumps Pumptoys brand. Also used a size genetics (I think) extender, Phallosan Forte (PF), LG hanger and the Bib Hanger. Think the best gains came when I first started when I did manual stretches and the Bathmate. The PF is a fun device to use and has a low learning curve. The Pumptoys products are excellent and I recommend them. Currently I am using the PF and Pumptoys pumps. Alternate between the 2 and 2.5 inch diameter cylinders. Thinking of getting the RestoreXL but not sure. The LG Hanger is so much easier to use but at the potential cost of the amount of weight you can hang.

Even every now and then I use the LG Hanger. It is a fun and easy device to use.

Good luck on your journey.

I've tried quite a few devices. Started with a Penomet pump and actually had some success with it but I think that was mostly fast gains from atrophy. I tried a noose style stretcher that produced some small gains for the short time I used it but it was an instrument of torture. I think I moved on to vacuum hanging first with a Sillistretcher and then an LG Hanger. The LG Hanger was very comfortable but IMHO way overpriced. After getting a bad blister I started using a Total Man compression hanger and have used that ever since. It's a simple solution that just works. I occasionally use the compression hanger with an extender I got from LG Hanger. I replaced the Penomet pump with an air pump but don't use it as much as when I started. Just about every hand pump you get with any kit is garbage. I bought an all metal MightyVac brake line pump several years ago and it has never failed and I've had zero problems with it.

One option that may be unique is that I 3D-printed a mount for a shaker table vibration motor with an attachment point for my TotalMan compression hanger. I hang 10 to 15 lb from a doubled-up length of theraband wrapped around the motor with a caribiner to and clip hook to hold the weight. The theraband helps to smooth out the vibration so you don't shake the snot out of your junk.

If I had it to do again, I would get a TotalMan compression hanger, maybe a good quality extender, a good quality pump kit, throw away the pump that comes with it and buy an all-metal one, and build the DIY vibration setup.

If you were to guess how many inches do you think you gained with the compression hanging? I’m considering purchasing one but I’m thinking of getting it with the plate hanger instead of the extender. The video instruction for the assembly of the extender looked quite time consuming.

I'm currently using Phallosan ang LG Hanger. I try to use Phallosan roughly 6-8h four to five times per week. I cannot use it every day because my foreskin gets tired and red. Phallosan is always set to the red+ area. I'm not sure how much force it will make in this area. My rough estimation would be around 3-5lbs.

I use LG Hanger mainly for heavier hanging, 13-17lbs for 1h session 5 times a week.

If I'm not lazy I might use Bathmate Extreme couple times a week. I mainly skip it since it's more difficult to setup and it's not so comfortable to wear.

For me I've used -

An extender(noose style)
An extender(vacuum cup)
A compression hanger
A air cylinder pump
An all day extender
A vacuum cup hanger.

Out of all these I rate

A simple cheap noose extender
An air cylinder pump
A vacuum cup hanger.

Those are the things that I got to see positive gains.

For compression hanger, I use the Total Man. I laughed at your complicated video comment. At the time, I said the same. But once you get past the video, works easy and I’d recommend!

I’m just starting out with a bathmate, would it be too much to start with bathmate and an extender ? And what stretches do you do before pumping ?

Before stretching , manual , extending, ads, or hanging heat is mandatory in my increasing length expirience.

You could do manual stretching, or stretching of any kind before using bathmate.

I much prefer a hand held pump, over a bathmate. I have one. It can be used a very warm , hot warmup, and if you can time it like that, please do.

A sock hanger that consisted of a heavy sock, a cable clamp(s), Id put kettlebells inside the sock and attach a cable clamp or two to my penis. This worked my first year of hanging, and I increased length from under 6.5 to over it, in about five hundred hours, with heat before and after each , twenty minute set. Toward the end had a black blood clot with lots of red blood as well come out meatus. Possibly a split uretha, so I thought a bib starter would be safer, and it was.

a knockoff bathmate that broke within two months and non replaceable

a legit bathmate

a le luv manual pump

Bib starter , took a long time to learn how to wrap, the correct theraband, according to bib, hanging btc. No measurable length gain after three thousand hours. Girth gain , possibly. Maybe I never got wrapping and placement correct. I did work up to thirty one lbs for a few sets , then reduced weight , subsequent sets. I would think I did learned how to hang that much weight correctly

leluv slider: with jes extender separate parts I bought , and another company in Europe. Still didnt master it. I didnt like sitting still for that long bc I never got to build it where I could walk around , cook, clean, do things.

A vaccum hanging system , similar to Phalloson forte. Was okay, Went to 15-16 lbs and broke four sleeve in like one month. I can see this being a good alterative to ads or extending and very and even super light weights.

Stealth's vac hanger Comes in a black case , has offices or cubby holes for each part, so it doesnt get messy. In a black case, super convenient, easy to conceal.

Stealth for men compression hanger. Even easier to conceal, much smaller black professional case. Thus far I seem to feel much greater internal soft tissue being stimulated, and much more of the tissue. Feels much smoother than the bib starter, and like its actually working my internals,

For me, comfort and ease of use matter just as much as effectiveness. A device that delivers great results on paper but is uncomfortable or takes too long to set up usually ends up sitting in a drawer. On the other hand, a simple device that you can use consistently often gives better long-term results.

One thing I'd recommend to anyone starting out is not to buy the most expensive option immediately. Spend some time reading real user experiences, learn the correct technique, and start with moderate intensity rather than trying to progress too quickly. Patience and consistency seem to make a much bigger difference than the specific brand.
