Must people warm up with a rice sock. A rice sock is basically a sock filled with a rice that you put in the microwave. The rice retains the heat and then you can use it to warmup. There is one bad thing about a rice sock though is that the rice doesn't hold the heat for too long (about 7 minutes) and I like to do a long warmup (15 minutes). So right now I'm using a gel pack that you also put in the microwave but it retains the heat for much longer. But as I said most people use a rice sock. You can also warm up with water, either by taking a hot shower or using a warm wash cloth that you sink in hot water.
For the v-jelq you do the spock sign (you make a V with your ring and middle fingers) and then you insert this V in the underside of your penis and you jelq straight up. You can start doing V-jelqs right away as they are not considered an advanced exercise and they are great for girth. I must remind you not to use too much pressure and don't do too many reps right away.
