And don't tell us how to post. We can ask whatever we want. We are trying to find out if it is all related or not. Just cuz 1 or 2 people say it is not the same doesnt mean its true. There might be different opinions and proof on this matter soon here on this very thread.

My intent was to get the thread on track, I am not sure who you are talking to here. I get that your saying the idea was stupid, now let get back on topic.
Rest days for the weener are determined by your own peronal experiences. I have tried one day, two days and have even taken 10 days off before so I am only an expert on my own weener. Many have routines that are 1 on and two off and the simple reality is no matter how many ways you ask there will still not be one single best answer so please understand that there just isnt an answer that can be given that will be correct.

I brought it up because someone else did first on this thread. We are trying to figure out if many rest days are needed or not. So that's it? The verdict is in? Has anyone tried resting many days and had success or do you only need 1 or 2 days?.... and how do you know that for sure?
Yes, many people have taken whole weeks of from PE (1-4 or more) and have still experienced growth. I remember seeing one person post that he reached his goal, so he stopped doing PE altogether, and a month later he noticed he looked bigger, measured, and the numbers were larger.

Other people take long break periods (like G4... i think we're talking years) and he shrunk a little. He said he found that getting back what was lost took a lot longer than it originally did.

There's no correct answer to the question of optimal rest days because it depends on the person, on the routine and how long of rest we're talking about.

There are certain rules we all need to follow, such as being respectful and staying on topic. I was only giving a friendly reminder to keep discussing the topic of the thread.
Different opinions are not only welcome, but encouraged. Sharing through friendly debate is how learning happens.

No smart person looking for muscle mass would ever lift weights 3 times a week. That is just plain stupid. Might aswell just do cardio only.
Wha? I lifted 2-3x week, usually twice. I squatted 545 no belt, deadlifted 585 no belt no straps and close grip benched 465 at 245-250. Usually just squatted and deadlifted on monday and benched on thursday.

But to answer the question it depends how conditioned you are, how intense your routine is, if your a more is more guy or a less is more guy etc...It all revolves around your eq and how fast you get it back after your workouts.

I am confused with the 465 at 245-250 on the bench part, but I will say that you have some good numbers my man. I too had some good ones many moons ago, he he. I am an old fart now. I can still push up over 300 and I am proud of that at 46. I have seriously thought about making one more run for the big 405, I may brake my shoulder but you guys inspire me.

I think he's saying he benched 465 when he weighed 245-250

I think JamesMonroe was referring to the same body part three times a week.

Oh, duh. I should have picked that up. Damn fine numbers, I got 385 at 205 but I am still envious, I always wanted the 405 and I got it one time shakey and I dont count it, all my gym rat friends say they would count it but the form was total crap. Any ways now I am the jack bag falling off topic.

Yes guys, I mean for example:
Legs only on mondays(once a week). I will not post skeletal muscle posts anymore but I will leave you with this:
As soon as a did a 3 day split once a week(legs/push/pull) and stopped taking protein shakes and stared eating real healthy food before and after gym, I started gaining tons of muscle and losing lots of fat very fast and consistently week after week.
