Arginine daily or only on days of anticipated sexual activity?

There seems to be divided opinion on this.

I have found that arginine has helped with erections but want to know if i should consume daily or only when expecting some action?

I take 10 mg of daily Cialis and if I am going to have sex I take about 7 gr of l-arginine ethyel ester three hours in advance and 50 mg of Viagra 30 minutes in advance.No adverse side effects However, I am diabetic and have a bad case of ED.

If Cialis is working for you, why would you want to add l-arginine? You would be better off replacing Cialis with the l-arginine and see how that works for you.

For extra boost. When I used to take Viagra about a year ago, I would get real hard wood, without any stimulation. That stopped happening, so I was thinking that by adding arginine with the Cialis, it would make it more potent. This is my first script of Cialis, and 10 mg worked pretty good the first time. But I needed stimulation. I think it is more of a libido thing with me, last time I had strong libido, was about 7 months ago. Maybe I am going through the changes, and just have to accept it!

Now it makes sense. Erection pills, however, are not supposed to give you instant erections, and stimulation (visual, mental, or physical) is usually required.

They also don't directly affect the penis. Pretty much they were all originally high blood pressure medications that worked to improve bloodflow in the lungs. Ease of getting erections is just a useful side effect of them.
