Your post does have a humors side but it will take 20 years to find it and enjoy it. But seriously the spinker(spelling wrong) muscles(anal retention) relax under certain conditions. There is a book by "Grossman" "On combat" that goes in to detail about such body functions in many different areas of the body. They are normal and natural in highly excited or stressed conditions. So don't sweat it, get back to it and enjoy you sex life.
Also if possible work it out with the girl friend it will benefit you and her both. This is not designed to get back with her but to heal and clear both of your minds. No big issues hanging over your head long term. Healing and relationship building in good.
