I can't parallel park for the life of me. Just another shot at my manhood haha. If anyone can, could you give me some tips? Thanks.
Ok. I was trying to but I would keep getting too close to the garbage can that I was using as the front car. Anger was rising like the incredible hulk man haha.
I learned to parallel park with a 73 Lincoln Continental. If you can park that warship, you can park anything! LOL!
Drive up next to the car in front of the space you want to park.
Go straight back in reverse maybe two-three feet and cut the wheel hard to the right (so that the nose goes into the street and the tail is going into the space.
When you are about 3/4 in, cut hard back to the left and go slow down even more as you come close to the car behind you.
Once the car is in the space, straighten the wheel and move forward a bit.
You may have to inch back and forth a bit but if you timed it right as you were backing in, you shouldn't have to. The key is not hitting the curb. You hit the curb, you're almost always screwed and have to start over. This technique has worked well for me - one of my vehicles is an SUV and can get it into almost any space - within reason of course.
Ok. Yea I drive a crown vic, so it's pretty big. Thanks.
A Crown Vic? Yeh - you're gonna be able master anything after that!
What year is it? You put some nice shoes on her?
Nice model - they actually changed up the body a tad bit that year. I've seen them with GE kits and replacement grills on them and they look very classy - not gaudy or overboard at all.
Nice ride.
