Skeptical about what? That she's telling the truth? If you still have doubt, don't you think you should try and find out the truth FIRST before going through all of this? I mean if you have a shread of doubt about any of this, the guy you are trying to get nailed could very well be an innocent dude. Think very carefully here O.G. Innocent guys spend ALOT of time behind bars for crimes they didn't commit but yet were falsely accused.
I realize this, she's the one coming forward with it not me, though I have spoken with the police I kept it anonymous for all parties involved. It's ultimately her choice, and she is likely not pressing charges. I have confronted her several times about this and my uncertainties, and sort of lapses of reasoning in the situation. You can imagine this is difficult and quite the mind fuck, just knowing fraction of what's going on. Thanks, that's one reason why I didn't go bang this guy out immediately.
Just remember if she was raped then support her in it no matter what, worry about how it builds character rather then feeling sorry for her. The girl I'm with right now told me she was raped and told none of her previous boyfriends and the first thing out of my mouth was something along the lines of "your so brave for going through what you did", the worst thing for any girl is for you to feel sorry for them, she voiced that as well, how she hoped I wouldn't look at her differently, which I don't. I just want to kill the fucker who did it, but lucky for that son of a bitch she won't tell me what his name is.
O.G.: Hang in there. You've done the right thing by not making any rash decisions. You sound like you don't trust her fully just yet (sometimes the gut never lies), so that's even more reason to not to do anything crazy.
You're in a tough situation, but either way it's your duty to continue to support her. If her facts are straight, she needs you now more than ever. If they aren't, the bottom will fall out on her story fairly quickly.

Yep, I'm supporting her and have always been for building her up and progressing her character, cuz it furthers the relationship in many dimensions.

I think regardless of whether the story is as one-sided as she told it to you or not, I think the thing to do is make her feel supported. Cause if it is true, you'll really come across as a hero to her and she'll always be grateful. If you approach it too brazenly, you're just going to end up looking like a stressful, emotional liability.
Right now most of the focus of this has been on the alleged douchebag. It really ought to be 90% about how to help your girl get through this, 10% about how to get back at the douchebag.

Bro, the law wont help you at all. There is no proof of DNA or anything of that sort. A friend of mine was raped when she was 17. Get his name, period. And go after this kid. The problem is that people tend to think something is going to happen about it, typically it never does. I'd think up a plan and execute it. Anyone I am with wont ever be let down in such a way. Most of the time they "dont" want anything to happen when they really do. Words are words, physical abuse and rape are a different game.
Wouldn't it be sad if a few weeks from now her rapist was scott-free because she couldn't prove he raped her, but her BF was in jail because the rapist could prove that her BF assaulted him?
...That miiiiiiggghht not be the best way to look out for the girl.

If you don't even believe your girlfriend 100% then something is definitely wrong witht the story; women lie all the time about being raped when they think the boyfriend will find out. There was a case at Hofstra Univ where a girl had sex with five guys in a bathroom then said she was raped after her boyfriend confronted her. Luckily, the sex was recorded with a cell phone.
Yeah lol... but luckly you read all the pages and showed me he said that he ain't believe her, if you ain't believe her then cut her loose. If you believe her than it's up to you- rather you cut his dick off, not care, kick his ass or have him in a trunk and ride it off a dock in his own car do you.
