Ahoy! Welcome to this here Pirate's log. I be 50 and I don't start at the beginning but I will give you a little background. I am currently taking a break after 8 months. I bought Aaron's book last spring and began PE in June 2009 with the 5 Week Beginner's Routine. I experienced good progress but those gains tapered off and eventually stopped. So I am taking a break and my plan is to resume with JP's 90 Day Routine.
My goals are:
EQ of 9+ (Gator has begun an excellent thread on standardizing EQ measurement that I am using as a guide.)
MMO (To date, I have experienced 2 DOs)
BPEL: 7.5"
EG: 5.5"
I have at least one more week of break left and plan to measure my current statistics sometime next week.
Your comments are most welcome!

not too many comments to mak apart from youve got a big un!!;) probably better starting off with the begginer routine after that amount of time off will give the shock start again and hopfully plus!! good luck my friend;)

Good luck Pirate. Please let us know how the break pans out for you. The more we see how different people react to breaks, the more easily and effectively we can have people implement them.

After 20 minutes with a heating pad BPFSL: 6 3/8"
I am still figuring out how to measure. (I know, that sounds stupid.) However, it feels like I am pushing on a ligament or something when I press the ruler to the bone in my usual place. I think I need to do more reading.

Haha not quite as stupid as you may think Pirate. I recently had a bit of a downer day when I realized that I was looking at my BPFSL at enough of an angle to take off about 1/4". Needless to say I was a little bummed but then again...that does mean my EL isn't as far off of the stretched length as I thought either.

Please forgive the lack of Pirate spirit in this post haha.

Is your BPEL longer or shorter than your BPFSL? (Mine is longer.)
Your angle comment makes sense: I have to hold the ruler farther from my cock when measure BPFSL (due to pressing on the ligament if I measure closer) and it is easy to see where a slight change in angle, or posture, could result in a significant change in the measurement.

My BPEL is longer than my BPFSL. That is unless I have lost 1/4" or more since I went on break...
I plan to measure both again soon and I will record my results.

Hrm, Pirate, are you sure? Are you pulling hard enough when you do a BPFSL and is the ruler firmly placed against the pubic bone?

I think it's very rare to find someone with this as the case - but I am SURE there are those of you out there.

If you can safely and accurately confirm this, then you could really benefit from a 100% stretching routine.

ESPECIALLY A and V stretches!

G, Thanks for the advice. No, I am not sure. I am still figuring out how to measure BPFSL consistently but I have been starting to suspect that I need to empasize stretching more than I have in the past.
