Okay. I was cheap and bought phallogauge for 70$, saving about 300$. But is it a good substitute?
Phallosan users please help. I never tried phallosan so I can't compare.
As for phallogauge, it is pretty much the same concept, except rather than the vacuum tip, phallogauge has a silicone strap that you wrap just below the glans. I've been wearing it for 3 days now. The first day I wore it only a few hours (it was kind of cheaply made and the velcro crap came off as soon as I opened it. On a side note, customer service was awesome. The guy replies to my emails almost instantly, even through the weekend and during late hours. He even made a you tube video just for me showing another velcro-free strap that I can get instead). Anyway, day 2 I wore it for 12 hours, and today I wore it 6 hours so far.
It's comfortable for about 3 to 4 hours at a time. Then my shroom starts getting purple-y and raw. I have to take it off for about 20 min then put it back on.
The foam ring is very soft, so I don't really feel it hard against my base. Not sure if the phallosan forte is the same or different.
I'm not sure how much I'm supposed to be feeling the tension. I feel a slight pull throughout the shaft, but mostly just below the shroom, where the strap is wrapped tight.
If I put it too loose, it slips off, too tight my shroom turns purple.
The tug isn't very strong when it's on snug enough not to hurt but also so it doesn't fall off. I probably have to get used to it to find the right level of tension.
Can any phallosan users please comment and compare their experience with pf. I am considering tossing this thing out and getting pf, but I'm worried that it's just a 'grass is greener on the other side' thing. The only real difference between the two is the suction thing on pf and the silicone sticky strap on the phallogauge, and possibly the hardness of the foam ring at the base.
