I just realized that being cut is not so uncommon and that maybe the jelquing exercises with two hands are probably written for cut penises (please correct me if I'm wrong). I'm uncut and I have been jelquing all this time with both my hand, stretching the freskin to the gland every jelq. I never pulled it back, because the instructions always said keep the first hand under the glans and create an OK with the second hand and start from the base, effectively stretching the already tight skin from the base. AS a result, I have created excess foreskin and it had darkened in colour by more than 70%. My dick now looks black.

For the past two sessions, I've been pulling the foreskin back and during a regular jelq then pulling the foreskin back again to the base with the same hand and during a jelq. I don't change my hand after every jelq, because the way I understand jelquing is that blood should be maintained in the penis to get results. So, if I loose 2-3 seconds in changing hand and correctly gripping from the base, the purpose is defeated, isn't it? So, I switch hands after 5 jelqs with each hand. So, it's 5 with the right hand and then 5 with the left.

What do you guys think about this?

Jelqing you do now is so called dry jelqing, I did it and I gained same like people who are cut and do wet jelqs. So if you feel comfortable with dry jelqingccontinue it.

It took me a long while to get the hang of jelqing. I'm uncut, and I used to have the exact same issue as you with foreskin retraction. I now do R's style of jelqing which is one-handed and performed dry. I have no problems whatsoever and I'm sure I'd have no problems either with traditional two-handed wet jelqing. Just keep practicing.

I am circumsized, but have shoulder and back issues. So I one handed jelq and switch hands also. They are effective for me, and with practice will be for you also. Keep it up.

You mean I should do it without lube? (in my case baby oil)

Can you please point me to an explanation of the R jelq?

So you mean that I should stop doing the tradional jelq (the one described in JP90) and continue doing what I've been doing for the past 2 sessions? (one hand jelq).

Do you suggest it dry or wet? Because I will need lube for the intermittent V jelqs, so I've been doing the one hand jelqs with baby oil.

Also, how frequently should I switch hands then?

I am uncut my routine for the past 8 months has been one handed Jelq with roughly 50-80% erection 3-5 second stroke I change it up every other workout. Meaning one day 5 second strokes next 3 etc.... But when I do one handed Jelq I slowly guide the pressure in upwards angle and stop right under the gland I then use my second hand to pull the foreskin back and start the next stroke. I have gotten better at it where the transition takes me 1 sec to do from one stroke to the next. I feel its just as effective if I were to use 2 hands at least for me.
When I do V-Jelqs its the same process as I guide the pressure in upwards angle then the hand that just finished the stroke grabs the tip of the head while the other hand pulls the foreskin and I then begin the second stroke. V-Jelqs for me honestly has been the most effective exercise and has given me the best result because depending at what erection level I do them at I work on either length or girth. Hope this helps!

It's essentially one-handed dry jelqing but you stroke at a bit of an upward angle.

What's the purpose of the upward angle? And how do you then do it with the ok grip facing downwards, just to make sure all parts of the penis are equally worked out?

And regarding dry jelquing, how do you do the V-jelqs then without lube? I don't sense the stretch too much while doing v jelqs. I do it like a regular cut man. but with the ok, I really think I stretched my skin too much to create that excess skin and discolouration.

Quite insightful. Thanks for the detailed reply.

I take time during the transition, because I realized that I wasn't working my penis from the public bone only from the base, and I started developing a minor baseball effect - not that bad, but time to realize that continuing the same woudl lead to increased baseball effect. So, I try to put the ok right down to the pubic bone and make sure I'm gripping it evenly while keeping it pressed onto the public bone. That itself takes me 1 second. So, I think with the transition its gonna take me 2-3 seconds and I wonder if that's going to be as effective as the two hand jelqs that others are doing. But I think practice is the only key to bring down this time.

I thought V jelqs were a girth exercise, isn't it? Can you please elaborate on v jelqs at different erection levels leading to length or girth results?
