StayStay at 2-3 hg. See if tjhe glans stays down enough for the rest to get benefit. You may need a larger cylinder.

Also you might try a silicone cap similar to the protective cap from Phallosan. If it would limit glans expansion.

Lube glans

I promise. Last edit.
Try going into the cylinder at only about 50% erection. Let the vacuum finish filling your erection.

Those are my best ideas. I am girthier at the nbase not the glans.
Good luck

I still dream of the day I can pack my 1.75" without edema :)
Try using a vacuum of 4 hg or lower and pump up to 45 minutes. Do this once or twice a week. Worked for me on my 1.5" cylinder. I am now packing the first three inches of my 2" cylinder.

Thanks, will try that in a few weeks, trying to stay around 30-40 minute mark at the moment as it is my "safe" time-zone without edema. It also gives me a better insight to gains I may be making (how much further up the cylinder is being packed). I remember you said you only do 1 set of 45 minutes a week is it?

Oh ... just around ...
My glans is so big that it cuts off the vacuum around my shaft, before I hit 5hg. I doubt I will ever completely pack my cylinder because of this.. meh.

Anybody dealt with such a thing? I air pump. I'm gonna do more inspecting tomorrow, today is rest, and try to figure something out. Gotta pack that cylinder!

There are some specialty cylinders out there that compartmentalize the glans.

At what point do you know u need to move up in size? I'm 7.25 inches in length minimum in my pump and I pack out if say around 3.5 inches. Do I wait until my entire length packs it to move up to a 2.25" cylinder? I have a 2.00" cylinder now.

I ordered a 2.25 once I could pack my 2 inch all the way.

As GTO pointed out above, packing without edema is the goal.

I start with my 2 inch cylinder for 10 to 15 minutes then change cylinders for the rest of my pumping.

Yeh, don't increase until you've gotten your current cylinder packed WITHOUT edema. And even once you do reach that goal, stay with that cylinder for a while longer, maybe 2-3 months of constant, consistent sessions. This way when you do increase in size, the roominess of the new chamber won't be as much of a "shock" to your cock. And go up in the smallest increment you can. The goal is to increase size without killing EQ. Going from a 2" to a 2.5" too early does more harm than good.

I've been packing my 2" cylinder girth-wise for a while now, but still have a good inch and a half length-wise left. Since length is my primary goal, wouldn't it be wiser to stay in this cylinder so it will be forced to grow length-wise if girth is maxed out (so to speak)?

I would say yes, as long as it is not getting uncomfortable when you pack it.

If you do it would be interesting to see if you gained length from this method :)

Interesting thread. I've just started air pumping myself. I measured myself for a 1.75" tube, I pack the bottom, mid shaft doesn't touch the sides, and then my glans is also packed. I bought a 10" length tube. Since my actual best girth around the shaft was 1.75 I don't think there is much room to add girth. This is okay for me as I am more concerned with length and am in the same boat as HungJury.

One question through, I see a lot of mention of edema. How can I tell if the heavier hang I feel is actual growth or just fluid collecting?

Sorry if this is detailed somewhere else, but I'm confused. What does "packing" mean for pumping? I'm thinking about getting a pump down the road so I want to make sure I know all the lingo so I do it correctly.

Packing the cylinder means your shaft is pressed against the wall of the cylinder (so no more girth expansion).

How can I tell if the heavier hang I feel is actual growth or just fluid collecting?

YOu can tell you have edema by disappearing veins (at least you see them less), thicker skin (grap the skin before the pumping session and afterwards), and by a donut or lymphocele under the glans. Some fluid build up is imho to be expected.
