This started quite a while ago when donjelqer76 questioned the effectiveness of topical heating to loosen the tunica, or more specifically the septum. It is a really interesting read and I recommend it to you here: https://www.pegym.com/forums/pe-theory-science-forum/36127-warm-up-rebuttal.html

In it I stated I would try to heat while clamped (which I didn’t bother to do) and User235 confirmed the body’s circulatory system is particularly adept at dissipating heat from a single source.

Since I started focusing on girth I decided to try wearing my silicone ring while warming up using an electric heating pad. Not only was there a profound difference in the temperature of the penis, but the time it took to completely heat my penis dropped significantly.

If you’re interested in thoroughly heating your penis in preparation for PE, consider making or purchasing a silicone ring and a heating pad. You won’t regret it.

EDIT: I failed to mention the best results come when you work it up to a chubby, add the ring, then add heat.

This is definitely something that I'm going to give a try. Such a simple and elegant solution!

I think it would combine well with IR light during a workout - infrared wavelengths actually penetrate well below the skin and put the heat deeper into the tissues. I think it would make an excellent combination and I'll be experimenting soon

Edit: I just went back and read through the warmup rebuttal thread. It was so long ago that I didn't even realize that we had a lot of interaction in that thread. It was really cool looking back on it all.

I know, seeing the stark difference in the points of view was somewhat entertaining and interesting. It really drove home how much I've learned from all the fantastic members here.

Great stuff nasmo. I really enjoyed reading this and the reference to DJ's thread. I love seeing people debate back and forth in a constructive way. This promotes innovation and progression. I will be doing this in my girth routine come winter time. :)

I really like the debate part. Sometimes I'll be driving a point and arguing it pretty forcefully then I'll read something which makes me stop and re-evaluate everything I've assumed up to that point. That is when I really learn.

Hopefully I'll be able to remember some of my other lessons and pass them on.

DJ, I'd really like to hear your assessment of this type of warming.

Can't agree more. BigO and I have some good debates. Sometimes I get schooled and learn a lot from him. Just like you, I set back and re-evaluate my opinion and realize there could be multiple ways to achieve the same outcome. Again, good stuff.

So I was thinking about this whole warmup thing.. and Like donjelqer mentions, IR penetrates deeper into the tissues. So I feel like an Infrared Heating pad or a pad with the LED lights emitting a certain wavelength beneficial for recovery or what not might be really really effective. It would look like something like this: Instant Calmer Healing Pad. That thing claims to emit far infrared heat, but it doesn't have a light source. So I don't see how it can provide true infrared deep tissue heating.

But I know you guys(Donjelqer and namsokiek) like to make things. Maybe you could create something like that. Just a thought.

The Mr uses a heating pad and that is the way to go, it warms his unit perfectly, quickly and the heat is distributed pretty evenly too.

Visible light is just one type of wave on the spectrum. I'm going to guess this uses electricity to excite the elements to emit far infrared waves, which are invisible to humans.

The stealth innerwear says it is embedded with particles which emit far infrared waves. I've had some experience with far infrared material but it is all anecdotal. I use it.

Mrs, have him try it with some mild constriction at the base (you could help him). He will feel the heat penetrate much deeper than before.

We always do the warm up with a cock ring on.

Some interesting stuff here..... Just from memory, the NASA studies I read a few years ago
on their web-site touted using infared lights and lights at various wavelengths. They
first were testing to see if the light would effectively help plant growth in space. Then
were interested in lights to heal astronauts and prevent atrophy of muscles. From there
they studied some wound healing stuff.

The short version is the various light therapy aided/accelerated in the wound healing process.
Somewhere around 660nm and 880nm. If memory serves in the studies they staggered the
therapy maybe 3-4 days per week with some rest days. The studies are probably still on
NASA's website somewhere.

I've been using the 660nm panel 3x's a week directly on my testicles for 2 minutes a pop
to increase testosterone, along with a 560nm (I think). Too nerveous to use the 880.
I read about sunlight on testicles increase testosterone in a more natural way.

Using heat when hanging with my LG hanger, so we'll see, the jury's out because I just started.

Good ideas about the heat here.

An inch and 1/2 deeper than before
I will definitely be incorporating this. Thanks for the great info Namso.

Has anyone ever tried the smaller, wireless heating pads? I thought the mobility factor might be beneficial, but the price point makes me want to ask before picking one up.

How quickly do they burn through batteries? I've used foot or hand warmers before but found them inconsistent.

Not sure, I had the same question. I've seen some that were rechargeable, but the price goes up. Maybe I'll keep an eye out for them on sale, but use what's known to work for now.

Ultrasound therapy devices are where it's at! Failing that, an IR lamp would be the next best thing.

Pad, I looked at the Ultrasound devices and blanched at the prices and was uncertain of the risks.

How steep is the learning curve? Have you had any incidents from it being dialed too high?

I started looking at the maker of the FIR heating pad you linked above and found this: Premium Portable Far-Infrared Sports Sauna with Polygraphite Infrared Panels

I'm thinking, "just zip that puppy closed and combine your hanging or pumping with your "FIR Therapy."

Do you think it would fly at work? "hey boss, I just need to do some therapy while I'm at the desk, here." I wonder if it is covered by some type of reasonable accommodation clause?

I've never actually taken the plunge and bought one, mainly out of laziness. It should be fine so long as you keep it away from the testicles (unless you want temporary sterility).

I may get around to buying one at some point, I've seen a few at under a 100€
