I already emailed Dr. Ric and he sent me a PDF of the instructions.
The only mention of hg in the promo PDF and the instructions is that 10 hg is good for 10 lbs for 30 mins, but that this is considered advanced.
I don't know if less hg should be used to start or if 10 hg a sort of a minimum. They will need to provide more information regarding hg when guys start going beyond 10 lbs and 30 mins.
A few other notes:
-An odd thing I noticed about the hg is that you can pump up to 10 hg, remove the pump, then if you plug the pump right back in, the hg has dropped a lot (it's only at 1-3 hg). I don't think it's leaking because it can hold weight, but normally with a cylinder and air pump, you can remove the pump and plug it back in and the hg may only drop slightly from your body adapting.
-Don't bother putting on the velcro band until after you've applied vacuum and attached weight. The shaft thins out once the weight is applied, so if you put the velcro first, it will be loose after weight is applied.
-The wrap that came with the package is 2" wide, but I used 3" wide wrap that I already had. It's easier with 3" because you don't need to spiral the wrap. Just something to know when ordering more.
I did 3 sets of 30 mins each today: 1 BTC (5lbs), 1 SD (5lbs), 1 over a fulcrum (2.5 lbs) and everything worked well.
