What I think is ridiculous is not doing something optimally when you could be doing it optimally with just a little ambition to learn a thing or two about it ... keeping it simple and just doing whatever a beginner might guess is a well rounded routine is going to yield results, but not nearly the results he can get by applying himself to learn a thing or two .. it isn't bullshit, and everything I said I can back up with scientific studies so as it may be you weren't specifically mentioning me, I know you were talking about my posts ...
I think doing things optimally and efficiently is a much better approach than simple
My comment was not intended at you, I am one who kept it simple and effective, oh and I have benched 405 and dead lifted 605 lbs by keeping it simple and effective, can still go over 3 bills on a bar flat on my back at 47(and I am only 5'8")so I don't see a need to get all worked up, my comment was dircted at all those who felt the need to use great big words when a routine can be spelled out simply.
Optimally and eficiently IS the simplest way to workout!
