Study: Penile Extender Devices Work for Penis Enlargement Exercise
If you've perused the PEGym member forums, looking for penis enlargement exercises, chances are you've happened upon several of our members who've had positive results using penile extenders as part of their penis enlargement routine. However, if you're new to penis exercises, you still may be a bit skeptical. Now, The Journal of Sexual Medicine has released study findings giving scientific evidence supporting the efficacy of penile extenders in increasing penis length, as a form of penis enlargement exercise.

What Are Penile/Penis Enlargement Extenders
Penis extenders are a type of traction device used for penis enlargement exercises. Most devices consist of a ring that goes around your penis and sits flush against your body and a fastening device that goes around your penis, right before the glans. Bars separating the two fastening points can be lengthened to put tension on the penis, stretching it, while in a flaccid state, promoting penis enlargement. The penis extender is one of the most straight-forward penis exercise tools.

The Penile Extender Study Participants
Twenty-three men, with a mean age of 26.5 years of age, entered into the study concerning penis extenders and penis enlargement exercises. All of the patients complained of having a short penis. Patients seeking girth only penis enhancement were excluded, as the study focus was primarily on length improvements. Medical histories were taken, to ensure there were no anatomic penile disorders that would negatively affect the use of the penis extender and progress with the penis enlargement exercises.
The Penile Extender Study Method
The subjects participating in the penis enlargement exercise study were asked to wear the penis extender per the following protocol:
- During the first 2 weeks, participants wore the device daily for 4 to 6 hours per day, and increased the length of the penile extender a 1/2 cm every 5 days.
- From the beginning of the 3rd week to the end of the 2nd month, participants wore the penis extender daily for 9 hours a day, increasing the length a 1/2 cm every 2 weeks.
- During the 3rd month, the participants continued to wear the penile extender for 9 hours a day, increasing the length a 1/2 cm every 2 weeks.
Study participants were followed up with at the end of the first and the third months of wearing the penis extender as a form of penis enlargement exercise. During each visit, penis length and circumference were measured by the same physician, to help ensure measurements were taken consistently. Measurements were taken for both flaccid and stretched length numbers, proximal girth, and circumference of the glans.
Penile Extender Study Results Show Penis Enlargement
Positive penis enlargement results were found concerning both increases in flaccid and stretched penis length, with the use of the penile extender, as a form of penis exercise. The results were as follows for flaccid penis length:
- Starting mean penile flaccid length for participants – 8.8 cm
- End of the 1st month mean penile flaccid length – 10.1 cm
- End of the 3rd month mean penile flaccid length – 10.5 cm
This showed an average increase of 1.7 cm in flaccid length by the end of the third month.
Similar results were found for stretched length increases, for using a penis extender for penis enlargement exercises. The results were as follows for stretched penis length:
- Starting mean penile stretched length for participants – 11.5 cm
- End of the 1st month mean penile stretched length – 12.4 cm
- End of the 3rd month mean penile stretched length – 13.2 cm
This showed an average increase of 1.7 cm stretched length by the end of the third month as well, of use of the penis extender for penis enlargement exercise.
There were no significant improvements found in penile girth. However, the circumference of the glans did show an average increase of 1/2 cm between the first and the third month, from using a penile extender.

6 Tips to Ignite the Fireworks in Your Bedroom
As our American members know, Fourth of July is right around the corner. It’s a time for backyard BBQs and night skies filled with fireworks. However, no matter what part of the world you live in, it’s always a good time to ignite fireworks in the bedroom! Following are six tips to spice up your love life.

- Change it Up – If you have a couple of “go to” positions, that’s OK. It’s good that you’ve found something that works for you and your partner. However, if you want to turn up the heat, try something different. What you may be doing is good — who knows how much better a different position could be until you try! The Internet is a great resource for finding lots of new sexual position ideas. Plus, there’s even an app for that! Cosmopolitan (yup, that girly-girl magazine) has a great Sex Position of the Day app for both iPhone and Android users. - Kiss Her Like You’re a Teenager – Remember when you were a teenager and just making out for hours was amazing? Kiss her like you did back then. Kiss her like you kissed when making out was your way of convincing her to have sex with you. Put the effort in from the very beginning. Don’t just rush to home base — take your time.
- Take the Fireworks Outside of the Bedroom – If your sex life is primarily relegated to the bedroom, try a different room to spice things up. The key here is to not wait until you’re both in bed to start foreplay. Instead, pull her onto your lap on the couch in the living room – join her in the shower – capture her in the kitchen – anywhere but the bedroom can really turn up the heat.
- Enjoy Nature – I’ll preface this section with a warning about following laws concerning lude acts in public. However, if you select a secluded spot out in nature, sex outdoors can be amazing! Take a Saturday afternoon hike in the forest (just be sure to choose a private area well away from the main hiking trail).
- Be Romantic – You may not need flowers and candy to get in the mood, but I don’t know any woman who doesn’t like to receive a small, token gift “just because.” Leave her a love note or a card on her windshield, while she’s at work. Surprise her by making dinner. Do something out of the ordinary, and let her know it’s because you love her.
- Visit an Adult Shop Together – It is amazing the variety of things available in adult shops. Have fun while you’re in there – laugh and joke. Make a deal that you’ll each choose one thing to buy and take home and try that night! The key here is to select a store that she’ll be comfortable in. Don’t go for the seedy, dimly lit store in the bad part of town. Instead, choose one that is well-lit and looks a little less intimidating… unless your gal likes seedy – then go for it!

Q: What started you on the path of penis enlargement?
I was 43 when I started penis enlargement. I stumbled across it looking for solutions to my weak erections. I was a smoker for over 25 years, had up and down weight problems most of my adult life, and it had all taken its toll on my body.
I spent a year trying to begin to improve my health. I lost 55 pounds, stopped smoking and became more active. During this time, I was fortunate to be reunited with my college sweetheart – “the one who got away” for each of us – and we fell madly in love.
I wanted to be sure we had a very loving physical side of our relationship, for the rest of our lives. As time went along, and my weight loss increased, my erection quality was suffering more and more. (I believe this was due to overall muscle mass loss on my body.) It never resulted in full erectile dysfunction, but I was headed that direction and wasn’t going to allow it, I wanted to be all I could be for my sweetheart.
I stumbled upon the PEGym, read everything I could, learned what successful PEers had done, and what unsuccessful PEers had done. I learned what leads to injury and decided to cautiously move forward with Remek’s beginners routine.
It’s now been two and a half months and I get erections like when I was a teenager. My girl has noticed the difference and comments regularly, since I began penis enlargement. She doesn’t know I am doing the penis exercises yet, but I’m not going to be able to hide the gains from her much longer. I’ve already gained an inch in length and over 1/4″ in girth. She definitely is starting to think something is up. Ive also received comments about my bulge and flaccid hang. It’s a nice visual stimulation for her.
My confidence is as strong as my erections now, thanks to penis enlargement exercises. I used to always worry that maybe today would be the day I finally reached ED failure, but now, even on a bad day, I’m twice as good as my best days before.
Q: When you were a beginner, what were the penis enlargement challenges you came across and how did you overcome them?
I really didn’t have any penis enlargement challenges when I started. I took it slow and focused, in the beginning, on developing proper form and technique with the exercises. I did pick up small tips and tricks with things – like what lube to use, talc powder for better grip during stretches, things along those lines. However, as a relative newbie, I haven’t reached any plateaus. Also, because I learned quickly how to listen to my body, I haven’t encountered any injuries. In fact, I’ve been cautious to the point where I only exercise one day on and one day off, less than half of most people doing PE. When looked at that way, I’ve fixed my EQ and made all my gains in less than 40 sessions!
Q: Which penis exercises have you used – which are your favorites/did you cut any from your routine?
I’ve used basic wet jelq and directional stretching as penis exercises. I’ve increased pressure of my jelqs gradually and increased time of stretches to 45 seconds, which is still a very light penis exercise routine. I also do Minuteman’s kegel routine; I just completed the first month. I also randomly do JAI stretches but very sporadically.
Q: Do you use any supplements? If so, what?
I don’t take supplements.
Q: What do you know now about penis enlargement that you wish you had known when you started?
The main thing I wish I had known — Why didn’t I learn about this twenty years ago?
Q: What are your penis enlargement end goals?
I never really had any other goal than to improve my EQ, and I’ve already attained that. I set an arbitrary goal, never expecting to actually reach it, especially because I’ve taken such a minimal approach to my penis enlargement, of gaining that “extra inch” every guy seems to want. The only size I was hoping to “add” was to regain the 1/4″ in both length and girth I’d lost over the years. Now that all those goals have been reached I will simply keep growing until it begins to negatively affect our physical relationship. I will continue to do some form of penis exercises for the rest of my life to keep my penis healthy and functioning though.

Q: Any other advice you’d like to share with beginning PE’ers?
Learn first. In the grand scheme of things, waiting an extra week to begin penis enlargement means nothing. Educate yourself to know you are starting off safely and effectively. There is nothing worse than spending three months and gaining nothing, only to find out after the fact that you have been doing something wrong the whole time (or worse, injuring yourself).
One jelq with proper form is worth ten with bad form. In the beginning, mastering technique should be your primary focus. Patience. Penis enlargement cannot be forced or rushed; injuries can last a lifetime. Goals can wait.
Rest. Growth doesn’t come about from the exercise itself; the exercises prepare your body for growth. Gains happen during rest days, not exercise days. Take it easy; less is more.
You should encourage your penis to grow, not force it. Gains occur while balancing the fine line between overtraining and undertraining.

Q: What started you on the path of penis enlargement?
A: I had always been curious, but thought of penis enlargement as a hoax. When I started watching porn in my dorming situation I would constrict my penis under my briefs and edge, not knowing it was a penis enlargement exercise. I started to notice a change in size and EQ, looked around the web, and PEGym.com seemed to have the best community to find information in.
Q: What challenges did you came across and how did you overcome them, when you were a beginner?
A: My challenge was doing penis enlargement exercises in a dorm. I would edge under the covers for 30 minutes to an hour, then go to the showers, and do my routine. It was somewhat of a challenge getting my bone down to make the walk down the hall to the showers. 
Q: Which penis exercises have you tried? Any favorites? Did you discontinue some from your penis enlargement routine?
A: I think I’ve found and tried every penis exercise listed in the “Exercises” section of PEGym.com. If they didn’t work for me or feel effective, I would experiment with grip and erection level to find a penis enlargement exercise that worked for me. Currently, I’m going for length and using stretches in every direction possible and with any grip possible. I prefer high erection level exercises, as they feel the most effective and beneficial for erect gains. I also do erect swings, side to side, up-and-down, and my favorite, helicopter — with and without hands.
I never liked jelqs much, I think I sort of jelq already when I masturbate vigorously. Switching to using my left hand during these vigorous sessions has helped reduce my curve to the left a great deal, at least when erect. Fixing my curve/hang/lig-tension has allowed me more flexibility in the bedroom, adding much to my lover’s and my enjoyment.
Q: Do you use any penis enlargement supplements?
A: I have never used supplements because I am 22 and believe a healthy diet with exercise and a diverse caloric intake provides me with all the supplementation I need to aid my penis enlargement efforts. Increasing EQ through increasing general physical health and muscular strength seems to work for me.

Q: What do you wish you knew about penis enlargement when you started that you know now?
A: I wish I had known to measure properly, without BSing myself. The best I have to go off is what I remember with my hands. Which isn’t so bad.
Q: What are your end goals for penis enlargement?
A: I want to get to ~500ml so I can say I have a pint in my pants. That would be 9″ BPEL x 7″ MEG or 9.5″ BPEL x 6.7″ MEG depending on how I grow. Currently, I’m focusing on length, and my goal is to gain as much as possible and 8.5″ would be nice I recently got to 8″, which is super awesome!

Q: What other advice would you give beginning PE’ers?
A: Enjoy your penis enlargement exercises time and get into it because there is no other feeling like it once you start to gain. It’s like you’re defying reality with you own penis!

HPV, Oral Sex and Throat Cancer
According to the CDC, the human papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted disease. There are more than 40 types of HPV that can infect the genital areas of males and females. These HPV types can also infect the mouth and throat. HPV can cause serious health problems, including genital warts and certain cancers.
“This is no surprise to anybody who studies infectious diseases,” notes Dr. Marc Siegel, an associate professor of medicine at NYU Langone Medical Center. “There is a big increase in HPV-related cancers, and one of the main ones, if not the main one, is throat cancer.”
Of course, the number of HPV incidences are on the rise. According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, it is estimated 16 million Americans have had oral HPV, which is approximately 7 percent of the country.
Transmitted by cunnilingus, the 2013 “Annual Report to the Nation on the Status of Cancer” found:
- Approximately 13,000 new cases of throat (oropharyngeal) cancer in both men and women linked to HPV in 2009 (the last year of available data).
- More than 10,500 of these cases were found in men.
- More than 60 percent of oropharyngeal cancers are caused by HPV, according to the National Cancer Institute.
- HPV-related throat cancers are now more common in men than cervical cancer in women (also caused by HPV).

What Can You Do?
Ninety percent of people infected with HPV will clear the infection from their bodies within a year. However, approximately 10 percent will develop the chronic disease. These 10 percent are at a greater risk for cancer.
- Future generations may be better protected against the disease, thanks to recent HPV vaccines given to young people between the ages of 11 and 21 (for males)/26 (for femails), which should decrease the prevalence of the disease.
- If you’re a sexually active adult, some data suggests smoking and drinking increases your chance of developing HPV-related throat cancer.
- Pay attention to your body signals. If you have a sore throat for an extended period of time, get checked out! Early detection and treatment has a very high rate of success of being treated.

Penis Size Linked to Finger Length
You may have heard the common thought that your foot is as long as the distance between your elbow and your wrist. Or, how about the fact that most people are approximately as tall as the distance from the middle fingertip of one hand to the other, when your hands are held out perpendicular to your body? Chances are you've even heard the theory about penis size and men with big feet. However, have you heard that your penis size is linked to your finger length?

The Research
Research led by urologist Dr. Tae Beom Kim focused on the relationship between finger measurement and erect and flaccid penis size. 144 men participated in the study. Dr. Kim and his researchers:
- Measured the men's index fingers (2D) and their ring fingers (4D), and
- They also measured their penis while erect and while flaccid.
The Findings
Interestingly, they found that most men had longer ring fingers (4D) than index fingers (2D). Additionally, those with a lower index finger to ring finger ratio (2D:4D – relatively longer ring finger) were found to have longer erect penises.
The researchers noted, “Based on this evidence, we suggest that digit ratio can predict adult penile size, and that the effects of prenatal testosterone may in part explain the differences in adult penile length.”
Previous research has found that this 2D:4D ratio is related to the amount of androgens (testosterones) present in a baby's body during the 8th to 19th week of pregnancy. Where women tend to have ring fingers that are approximately the same length of their index fingers, men have longer ring fingers due to the increased amount of testosterone in the womb.

Men with longer ring fingers are believed to have been exposed to higher levels of testosterone, while in utero. In addition to a naturally larger penis, this has also been linked to increased athleticism, sexuality, aggression, and the ability to more effective trade high-stakes stocks, according to a study at the University of Cambridge.
However, it's not all bonuses for our long-ring fingered friends. Those with a lower 2D:4D ratio (relatively longer ring finger) are also at a higher risk for:
- Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease),
- Prostate cancer and
- Arthritis
7 Lifestyle Choices You Can Make to Help Make Your Erections Stronger
A larger penis is a good thing, but a larger penis and stronger erections is even better! In addition to the penis exercises you’ll find here on PEGym.com and in Penis Exercises, there are several lifestyle choices you can make to help make your erections stronger. Following are seven things you can do to maximize your erection strength.

- Quit Smoking – Smoking has been found to be a major contributing factor to erectile dysfunction, according to a report published by the American Heart Association. Smoking causes plaque to build-up in the arteries. Known as atherosclerosis, this plaque blocks blood flow, causing circulatory problems, including erectile dysfunction. The AHA study found:
- Men who smoked more than 20 cigarettes daily had a 60% higher risk of erectile dysfunction, compared to men who never smoked.
- 15% of the past and present smokers had experienced erectile dysfunction.
- Men who currently – and formerly — smoked were about 30% more likely to suffer from impotence.
- Get a Good Night’s Rest – On average, while you’re sleeping, your penis “wakes up” and gets an erection between three to five hours per night. These nocturnal erections bring oxygenated blood into the penis, re-energizing the tissue while also keeping the tissue flexible.
- Exercise More than Just Your Penis – Exercising your penis can make you larger and stronger, but if you want to maximize your erection strength, exercise the rest of your body as well. Research has shown just walking 30 minutes a day can help prevent erectile dysfunction and increase erection strength. Regular exercise improves your cardiovascular health builds your energy levels, lowers blood pressure, and makes you feel relaxed and rested — all critical to strong erections.
- Reduce Stress – Stress is a normal part of everyday life. In fact, our bodies are designed to use stress to keep us ready for danger. However, when stress persists it can negatively affect your health — including your erection quality. When stress begins to build, try to keep a positive attitude and accept when there are things you cannot change. Look into learning how to meditate or take yoga or tai chi.
- Avoid Penile Trauma – Problems with erection quality can occur because of penile trauma. Some sexual positions are more risky than others. If trauma includes damage to the corpora cavernosa, internal bleeding can occur, scar tissue can form, causing a loss of erectile tissue flexibility, curvature, and pain.
- Drop Some Pounds – Obesity can also negatively affect your erection quality. Men who are obese have lower testosterone levels, a key hormone needed for strong erections. Other diseases related to obesity include diabetes and high blood pressure – both also have been found to experience higher incidents of erectile dysfunction. In fact, approximately half of men with diabetes become impotent.
- Be Monogamous – Being monogamous can help strengthen your erections in two ways. Although monogamy doesn’t completely prevent the transmission of STDs, it does help. Some STDs, like chlamydia, can be painful during intercourse, negatively affecting your erection strength. Additionally, being unfaithful to a partner can cause guilt, which can tranfer into anxiety, which can destroy your erection quality.

However, it’s surprising how many guys don’t keep this important organ clean. You wash your hair. You brush your teeth. You clean your fingernails when they get dirty. Your penis deserves just as much (if not more) hygienic attention. In this article we’ll discuss why a clean penis is a happy penis and how to keep it that way.

Why is a Clean Penis a Healthy Penis?
Following are just a few reasons why you want to keep your penis clean.
- Prevent Smegma Build Up – Smegma is a natural lubricant, designed to keep the penis moist. However, smegma can build up, especially in men who are uncircumcised, and create an off-putting order.
- Prevent Balanitis – Bacteria built up around the head of the penis, from not being kept clean, can result in balanitis. This bacterial infection results in a red, swollen and often painful head of the penis.
- Less Likelihood of Irritation when Exercising – When exercising your penis, a clean penis is less likely to get irritated then one that is already under physical duress from bacteria.

The last thing you want is for an offensive smell or taste, due to poor hygiene, to turn your partner off.

How to Clean Your Penis:
Vigorous scrubbing and disinfectant soaps are NOT needed to keep your penis clean and healthy. In fact, being too rough or using a soap that is too strong or too perfumed can irritate your skin. Instead,
- Warm water,
- A soft wash cloth, and
- A mild, non-perfumed soap
are all you need to keep clean and fresh.
If you’re uncircumcised, be sure to gently pull back your foreskin and clean and rinse thoroughly. Addition to cleaning the shaft of the penis, don’t forget the pubic region and your testicles. The hair of the pubic region is a perfect trap for bacteria. Like your underarms, the hair here captures sweat, which can result in offensive odor. Lastly, don’t forget the area between your testicles and anus, while you’re cleaning.
When you’re finished, be sure to dry yourself off completely with a clean towel. Leaving yourself damp from showering can promote bacteria growth.
