Its interesting how most of our members start as lurkers from anywhere around 2 weeks to even 6 months! There is definitely a large number of individuals who find our site useful, but do not feel comfortable joining the community. I hope they do eventually. Getting hands-on advice and personal support anonymously can be incredibly helpful!
Also, I like having new faces to talk to. The more the marrier, except on a single bed, cause that sh*t gets crowded.

... and also should make another point that, being a "lurker" here should not really be associated with not feeling comfortable socializing or anything. A lot of people today are very busy, and do actually find all the info they need here without posting. I mean, almost every subject under the sun has been discussed on PEGym at some point.
What I have seen quite a few times now though is the good nature of the members here, the collaboration on ideas and thoughtful posts of our community, rather than the actual info here, is what convinces people in the end to jump on and say Hi.
I have got quite attached to this online version of myself. So, if you've found yourself thinking favourably of this here humble forum, why not jump on and say hello and become a new character here, a new friendly voice, a new beacon of wisdom and rationality, and a new version of yourself you'll be proud of. Damn straight
