how about sitting on a tennis ball for removing trigger points in the perineum, the ischo, and that whole area

what would I do just sit on with my perineum and just move around?

so my pt didn't find any trigger points but found i was tight. I've had massages and i don't think i have any trigger points. never had pain with my hf ever or anything like that. I've just started lifting and meditating and stretching, but just today started internally massaging myself today. my pt showed me how but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right and idk if i could hurt it. basically i stick a finger in there and move my finger around each number of a clock. Ill start at 12 eventually get to 6 and end back at 12. i get my glans filled up a lot of times too which is a good sign and got erection standing. all i need now is someone who can help explain how to properly internally massage myself, i would keep going to my pt but can't now cause theres no pt around where i go to college...p

I would not do any massages especially internal, especially since 2 days ago after my 5th or 6th PT session I massaged my perineum and around that area trying to get to my ISO and Bulbo

my symptoms are back and maybe worse then ever my erections are zero to none I even took a cialis ( which I'm prescribed) and 2 extenze tabs and still no erections, my penis is smaller due to lack of blood flow, cold glans, testicles have gone up and are like in the cold position, and spasming in perineum,

I'm so mad too cause I was responding real well to treatment ( almost all trigger points were gone and my PT says I was ready to start strengthening exercises next week, I'm really hoping I didn't tear fascia in my perineum like Medilook thinks he did

But I wouldn't do any rectal work or perineum IMO leave those areas to the therapists

Well if you hurt something you'd probably know n just pushing n pressing like a massage trying to mimic what my PT did

N if you don't have trigger points then that's probably a good thing n IMO just go to a PT it makes things a lot easier

They are professionals while we are not

I'm not saying you messed anything up tho I wouldnt massage my perineum or anywhere near that area or inside my rectum cuz I've had negative results n in the Amy Stein book it says leave rectal massages to the professionals

N how come u can't go in college my pelvic floor specialist is only one day a week

Ok guys I spoke with someone who was experiencing many of the same symptoms many of us are experiencing. After many years of searching for answers, getting all of the "tests", and being told nothing was wrong, he finally found a doctor who understood his condition and has been of great help to him. He was finally diagnosed with pudendal neuropathy and has been getting treatment. According to him it has something to do with the pudendal nerve being damaged. Said there is a doctor in France who understands this stuff. I know there are a lot of theories floating around but this sounds promising. I will keep everyone posted if I get more info.

Edited to add more information found here:

You don't need to go to France to get help with Pudendal Neuropathy. It's one of the things that pelvic floor physical therapists tend to specialize in. It's important that you understand the meaning of the word "neuropathy", which can apply to any area of the body. All it means is that the functionality of a nerve is hindered in some way. Doesn't mean it's damaged at all.

Hard Flaccid is a cramping of the Ischiocavernosus muscle. That's what makes it hard. There's no if's and's or but's about it. A lot of guys with HF have nerve-related symptoms, like numbness, but that does not mean it's the root of the problem, quite the opposite actually. The same muscular tension which causes HF is also putting pressure on the nerves. Relieving that tension is the answer. An injection into your penis or perineum like this website says is NOT the answer. I can't tell you how many guys with HF got it directly from injections.

I would recommend that you don't do that, seeing as you have absolutely no idea what you're doing. There's a lot more to it that simply "massaging" around down there. It's a science.

This may help explain some of the different ways the nerve can contribute to pelvic problems?

"While the medical community is still in the process of defining some of these terms exactly, there is some agreement on what the terms mean. Neuralgia is typically thought of as pain along the course of a nerve due to inflammation. Neuropathy is associated with a pathology or functional disturbance in the nerve. These two terms are very closely related and sometimes used interchangeably. Often these terms are abbreviated as PN in the pudendal community.

Pudendal nerve entrapment (PNE) is a more specific term describing a neuropathy or neuralgia that is associated with the nerve being tethered by fascia, compressed by ligaments, enlarged muscles, and/or other structures. Sometimes the nerve is restricted so that it cannot glide easily resulting in a stretch or tension injury to the nerve. Generally if the nerve is impinged upon by tight, tense muscles it is not considered a true entrapment because surgical intervention is not required to relieve the impingement. If the impingement is due to tight muscles, physical therapy might help relieve the tension."

So from what I have gathered you can have problems with this nerve that result from "tight muscles/muscular tension" in which Physical Therapy may help with, the nerve may be compressed in some way or there may have been an injury to the nerve due to stretching or external trauma.

i respect that and yeah basically i just stuck my finger in there and moved it around like a clock and i don't really know what I'm doing I'm just scared that i might of hurt myself when i did it. Especially since the day before i got morning wood and an erection when i was standing with full glans. I was fortunate enough to never have pain with hf and have no trigger points, I'm just scared that i hurt something ealier today when i put my finger in it. Is that possible or is it hard to hurt something by internally massaging
