I am currently at around 5.5inch floppy, and slightly warm it's about 6-6.1 inches. Is this considered a shower then? It has increased maybe an inch since starting pe, just means that my erection is only animal amount bigger. Kind of looks smaller when I'm erect I think!

I have never in my life had problems with my penis being visible through shorts and trousers, I don't think anyways.

I don't know if you can do this with a standard forum poll, but what would be interesting is a "two-dimentional" poll: flaccid length and erect length, where everyone picks a length category for each measurement. Then you'd be able to test the old adage that penises are generally either "growers" (small flaccid, but engorge a lot) or "showers" (large flaccid, but don't increase in size that much).

My guess is that this is probably at least to some extent a myth, and that a penis's erect length is probably more or less proportional to its flaccid length. But it'd be interesting to be proved wrong.

I measure it like I do erect parallel to the ground. When it actually hangs to the ground it is close to 5 but parellel right now it is 4.5.

At the time this poll was started in 09 I was like 2.5" hang.

My "flaccid length" is a little over 4.5 inches as of now. I use that phrase with quotations since it seems like I'm never 100% flaccid, like there's always some blood flowing in it, and my penis has been feeling heavy (in a good way).

An interesting thing to point out: Looking at the poll results, it seems to be a positively skewed distribution. With skewed distributions, the median is a better measure of average-ness.

So for those who decide to research on this, use the median to measure average-ness, not the mean.

A sample of 570 seems large, but may not be representative of the whole world population, given that the ratio of the sample to the world population is roughly 57/3,400,000 = 0.0017%.

In conclusion, only among the males in PEgym population is the distribution positively skewed.

Just measured at 5 1/4. It does vary though and has increased in the few short weeks i have been peing.

Just measured at about 4.75 although it's a bit cold in here and tbh I'm pretty sure it usually hits 5". Still looks small/average to me, even on my 5ft 4 frame ... probably watched too much porn. Still though, another inch or more would be good in both dimensions. Girth is about 4.75" hanging.

I grow 4.5'' in length and 3'' in girth... Im 3 inches flaccid but will still describe myself as a grower. Imo it's not your flaccid length that determines whether your a grower or a shower... it's how much u grow from flaccid to erect!

I guess you can consider me a shower at 6.25" long flaccid and 6.25" in flaccid girth as well. From my experience being a "ridiculous shower" is kind of embarrassing at times. I do agree that being a shower or grower should be more based on how much bigger it gets when erect and not how big it is when soft. I for example don't get too much bigger when erect like some other guys.

Wow, apparently I'm a ridiculous shower according to this. I genuinely believed myself to be average, but then again I've never had anything to compare to. I measure a little over 5" when flaccid, but I have noticed a few times in the changing rooms at the gym that other guys hang smaller than I do. That gives me a little bit of an ego boost, hahahaha!
