I bought a clone-a-willy kit a couple of years ago to surprise my then-girlfriend. The first attempt ended in disaster. Trying to stay hard whilst ensuring that the correct temperature was achieved and everything was ready turned out to be an impossibility for me.
I bought some more solution (which cost almost as much as the entire kit!) and tried again with her assistance and things were more successful. Only managed to get a mould with about a 75% erection, but still did the trick. It's quite a strange thing to experience having your willy in both of your girl's holes at the same time! Was fun, though.
My advice would be get it, and just make sure you're really nice and horny when you're ready to make the mould. Best of luck if you decide to try! I've used clone a willy to get an idea of starting size pre pe but actually used it after one year of pe-ing. The original intention was to use the system again after a few years to have a physical record of the gains. The clone a willy works well but you may need a female helper to keep it up for the time it takes to mix the formula and to stick your dick in the mud so to speak. The cost is very reasonable and it's very easy to use.
I have tried to life cast my penis. It's difficult to do without help, and you'll prob. need to try more then once. The problem is that hot water will make the alginate set really fast, and cold water will make it set slow. It's difficult to stay hard with all this going on. I ended up with a cast of a chub, rather than an actual full ecrection. Also, if your going to cast with silicone for a toy, you will want a vacuum chamber. And silicon will shrink over time, so it won't be quite as big as you are.

Clone-A-Willy kits are pretty much good for size comparison and creating blunt objects only (the rubber is some seriously hard stuff). They really also only include enough rubber material for someone on the absolute bottom end of average, forcing you to buy more stuff.

For a quality life casting set up check out artmolds.com or search lifecasting. You get what you pay for. Yes, you can cast with testicles included. It all depends on what you use for a container.

Funny I just posted about the "clone a willy" . It was a disaster the first time trying to do the mold. Instead of buying more I made my own with a recipe I found by googling - make your own mold - or something like that. It was made out of flour, salt and a few other things...It worked pretty well and I wasn't so resricted by time like the mold mixture. It's definitly not a high quality dong, but it will be great to compare after a few months of PE... The vibrator is pretty strong so my wife likes it.
go to a store like hobby lobby or michaels and they have the materials that you can make a cast of i did that then i used a different material to pour in for the actual mold it only takes 2-3 minuites to make the cast then about the same time to make the actual mold you want cost almost nothing
