DIY Replacement parts??

I have x4 deluxe (on week 3)
Notice one of the foam comfort pads is starting to wear out. Of course all replacement parts from mfg are pricy.
Maybe this is covered somewhere else on here but thought I would check.

Any of you found / implemented something else as an alternative to mfg parts when something wears out?
Examples: Can you but 2100 gm springs at home depot or something, is there something cheaper that will work in place of those foam pads, etc?

What sort of inventions / concoctions have y'all done to your various devices?

I also have a deluxe and because i'm uncut my comfort pads are pretty pointless due to slippage problems and i'm pretty sure lots of other uncut deluxe owners have unused comfort pads lying around which they'll never need.

So you ought to state what country you're from and i'm sure some uncut deluxe users would willingly send you there unused comfort pads because as stated they are pretty useless to us. By the way i'm from England and if you're are from the UK i would willingly send you one unused comfort foam pad for nothing.
