I'm having the same issue as NP97 in regards to breathing while holding a RK, does anyone have any advice (besides practice which I know I need ;) ) to isolate my reverse kegel to not include my abdominal muscles ?

i guess with practice you can get away with PE but im not 100% convinced because you are born with your genitals since you are a kid and if you damage it, there is no solution. But performing in bed is all irrrevelant because some days you can perform some others dont but if you never do it then this is where sexual health problems arise.Im afraid its my case but i will talk to my doctor wedsneday and get somet ips before starting abstinence or just keep practicing.

I've always figured that if I don't feel them in the base of my balls/taint area I'm doing them wrong... Was I not?

The secret is to not be sitting. you need to be laying flat on a bad with your legs down straight. you need to get pressure away from the anus. Dont sit on anything and try to have your pelvic area free from any contact. actually... when you are standing up straight like when you are urinating is a great way. that way there is no pressure on the anus. if there is pressure near the anus the contraction stops there and cant continue past towards the balls. Once you do that you will feel the pump at the base of your balls.

Hello fellow PE members. Have not posted here for a while but I am having some difficulties right now. While flaccid or semi-erect my kegels and RK are great. I can feel my muscles moving in different ways most of the time. But when i have massive erection( like my dick is on springs facing one o'clock) my pelvic floor muscles are so tense and it is hard to kegel in any way. The movement of muscles is almost non existant. When i get this coil spring like feeling away my erection level falls and muscles loosen up. It gets too soft 6.5/10.

You should still be able to do kegels and reverse kegels even though there is less movement and different feel.

Absolutely... I just mentioned it for people who wanna feel the full stretch/flex when they are starting out.

Okay, im the new guy so please be gentle. I read the entire thread and I'm having a little trouble with RK's. If I understand correctly I am supposed to, at first, push out my lower stomach to get the feel, right? I shouldn't feel it so much in my butt hole though correct? Also, I have an Aneros prostate massager. Could this help me with the exercise? Would pushing in slightly in and out of my butt be correctly performing the RK? Thanks in advance guys!

You may feel RK in the lower stomach, below the belly button and above the penis and /or in the taint area between balls and arsehole. it should be a push out sort of feel, in the same way standard kegels are a pull in feel. Don't expect the feel to be very strong though. When you force piss out faster that is a reverse kegel.
Not into anal personaly.

Firstly, pardon my english and sorry if this doesn't go here.
Ok, until yesterday I didn't know about the kegel/RK techniques so I got here searching for some solution/s to my problem. Yesterday I had sex with my gf but I couldn't hold inside of her for more than 30s-1min. After read a lot on this forum, and I really mean A LOT (I like to be well informed before trying anything xD), I started to train my PC muscle just like the most of you recommend. Normally when I masturbate (almost always watching porn) I could last for about 15 mins or even more, depending on how I was feeling at the time, all of this before knowing anything about kegels.

Well, just a few minutes ago I had an edging session (W/dry hand) in which for the first time I used RK to prevent myself of reaching the PONR (this time without porn, read on here that it is recommended this way) and surprisingly for me it helped me enormously for this goal, when I was feeling that I was getting closer to the PONR I RK and almost all of the times it worked, this even without stopping stimulation. I lasted 35 minutes in which I had to completely stop stimulation two times to not ejaculate, actually it could had been even more than 35 min but I thought that that was more than enough. Note that before yesterday I could last this long BUT I'd have to stop stimulation just before the PONR while today using RK never had the need to do it except those two times that I mentioned.

So now I'm wondering if this would have such an effect inside of a girl because I don't plan to have sex at least in the next days, I know that I'm a begginer and I have to completely get used to it, but it'd really help to my self-esteem to know that if I put this in practice while having sex I could last at least a few minutes more and, with training, have a total control of my PE.

Thank you guys beforehand, this forum has really helped me in this short time. Corrections in grammar are also accepted xD.

I personally found this information very helpful. I have heard a lot of people referring to a reverse kegel, but I didn't understand what it was. Now I came to find out I knew how to do it, just didn't know that's what I was doing. Thanks to Pirate and Pegasus for your in-depth explanations. I will definitely incorporate this into my kegel routine to avoid adding too much tension to the pelvic floor muscles.
