Well a week from now this Jesus guy was born. I don't really want to debate whether he was God, man, or whatever. This is completely non-religious. I just want to think about what he said. He said things like feed the hungry, visit the sick and comfort them, shelter the homeless, clothe those who had none, bring hope to those in despair, treat others as you yourself want to be treated! Whatever religion or non religion you are, whatever you believe or don't believe, you cannot argue that this is how we should behave towards each other! If you think about it it really isn't all that hard! Nowadays we think that governments should do that and we as individuals don't have to. Hell I pay my taxes and some of that money goes to the poor and whatever! Guys, governments can't do it; people have too! That's what this guy Jesus lost his life for as well as many others before and after him.2000 years later we still ain't getting it! Well whether you believe in the coming holiday or not, let's just all pretend that this time of the year is for just a little extra giving to those in need.If you have the means, drop a can of soup or mac and cheese off at a food pantry. I can't walk by one of those salvation army cans without putting a buck or two in. Funny everytime I do I say this is from the pe gym; the person has no idea what I'm talking about but since I'm here for free I consider it my "dues".If you don't have the means, than just do something simple like open a door for someone or maybe visit someone you know is alone.Maybe even send a card to someone you haven't spoken to in years due to some disagreement just to say hello. You guys are smart; just try to do something! Let's all here, the members of the pe gym, a place we come to for free and have a bit of fun, let's just try to make a difference to and for someone! Enjoy the season all of you!
