Have you met a PE member in person?

HI. Just wondering if anyone has met another PE member? So many are open with their location/part of the country.
No need to put any names. Just wondering.

I came close. I learned that one of our members, with lots of pictures up, grew up in my town and lived not far away (maybe 2 miles.)
We chose not to meet.

I'm actually not averse to meeting people either. Just gotta be low key with the conversation, or even just about other stuff in general.

I have met four PEers in person from where I live/lived. Then my buddies, bros, and one cousin I let in on PE that do it, but that's different than meeting a stranger that does PE.

Back in my days at Betterman, we had a member by the name of sikdogg that lived not too far from me. He and I met a few times, usually when my job had me going to his neck of the woods we'd have dinner or something after the fact. Haven't talked to him or seen him in years though.........

I am considering a career change that would involve a fair bit of traveling to cities where I know we have members and have thought about announcing, "Hey, I am going to be having lunch at the Boom Boom Room on Thursday in BigTown. Anyone want to join me?"

I actually think it would be cool to meet some of the people here, I see people that have a great sense of humor and people that genuinely care about others. I wouldnt talk about dick all day but maybe sharing ideas would be cool face to face. This might sound wierd but even an educational type setting for members with speakers would be cool. There are so many things that could be gained knowledge wise. Dont think I am a wierdo even though I probably am, just a normal family guy with a bunch of kids and a pretty cute wife.
Pirate, I live in Washington and its awsome here. I am 2 hours from Seattle and Vancouver, one to the north and onen to the south!
