Ok guys, in my field of research/studies I know quite a bit about human endocrinology and anabolic androgenic steroids. I'm also a competitive bodybuilder. With that said, let me explain a few things to you...
Most of the ingredients contained in Enlargel are, for the most part, not substantially altering your hormone levels or HPTA to cause any harm, especially if you're a younger male. Most of the herbal formula will increase your sex drive and probably enhance blood flow to the applied area, as well as, other tissues. Too many other added benefits by increasing unbound androgens by decreasing SHBG. Some ingredients will influence gonadotropin secretion, more specifically, the production of LH. However, as mentioned before, this increase will not be of any alarm.
Androstenedione, is a prohormone to either testosterone/DHT or estrogen(s). This particular prohormone is a bit more productive in relation to DHEA, being one enzymatic step closer to the target hormones of interest. Bio-availability is somewhat poor. However, since it's a topical/transdermal, the bio-availability increases significantly, but in comparison with alkylated steroids, it's very weak. To significantly alter the HPTA, large quantities would be required. Given the amount contained in this transdermal, there shouldn't be any concern. However, younger men (teens to mid 20's) we might expect the enzymatic promotion to go in favor of estrogen(s) rather than testosterone. So, using too much might cause estrogenic side effects, but with the amount contained in each application, I find this highly doubtful.
In conclusion.
This is a VERY MILD pro-hormonal substance that could aid in PE efforts to some degree. A few variables may affect the effectiveness of the product, giving much weight to the age of the consumer. Older individuals will have a much more productive experience than younger males, but both will benefit from a reduction in SHBG, vasodilation, and increase in libido.
