I've been jelqing for the past weeks only using one of my hands (that is my right hand). The reason I do this is because my skin tends to constantly pull up and gets stuck on the top if I jelq with both hands... its hard to explain. I find it hard applying the second hand to the jelqing motion in general because of the skin as all the foreskin i have bundles up while i do the jelq and in the end it just feels like im pulling the skin to the head. I can only do it by performing one jelq with one hand then take it fast of the penis and return to bottom and start the other. I cant start the second hand on the bottom while the first one is finishing on the top as the skin is in my way. Should I make a video of this to explain the problem a bit better?

And my initial question was: is it ok to do one handed jelqs and not use the other hand? Will I still see any results or is this pointless?

It sounds as though you jelq similar to me, uncut guys often have an issue.
The central question is how is that working for you.

id say its fine...once youre forcing the blood into the penis to cause the micro-tears then its all good....it would be the same say if someone broke their wrist and just learned to jelq with one hand....they would eventually get the hang of it and find the perfect rhythm, enough to do the exercise perfectly....

Copied and pasted, my reply in another thread:

Yeah, one solution is to hold the skin back at
the base with one hand and perform one
handed jelqs.
I have quite a turkey neck but didn't realise
until several months of improper jelqing. I
know, I'm an idiot. I do feel that I had a
problem with it before I started PE, after
learning what it was.
But the solution I use now to prevent skin
bunching up was suggested by one guy on
here who posted once and hasn't since. All
you do is sit on either end of a sock, I do
this while lying down, and put the middle
bit of the sock underneath your penis but
above your balls, so in between the two.
Experiment with tightness by pulling the
ends further back.
Makes jelqing with both hands possible and
everybody has socks!
Another thing that helps the bunching up of
skin is a thicker lube, like has been said
cocoa butter is supposed to be good. I have
never used it, vaseline works well for me.
Hope that helped!

The guy who suggested it used it to keep his foreskin back. It doesn't work like that for me but it stops skin bunching up like I said, keeping ball skin out of the way.

You could try jelqing differently. Grab the base with your free hand as your jelq hand makes its way up your penis.

thats the problem ive tried that and i still get the skin all bundled up and it even hurts! This extra bit of skin is a big hastle :( oh well ill see how the sock idea works out that the previous person posted here! Thanks.

I jelq that way too drei19 only I change hands every so often but still do it one handed. I am also uncut and have been at it (JPs 90 day) for about 5 weeks now and have probably gained about a centimetre in length and girth. I will do a proper meause next week (trying not to measure too often).

I have definitely noticed though that when jelquing my knob is much bigger than when I started so it is obviously forcing the blood in there fine.

One hand jelqing can definitely give results as long as you're consistent enough. Use a lot of lube, it helps dealing with the foreskin.
As hlaw suggested, it is important to alternate between your hands when jelqing, or else, it might lead to uneven jelqing and create deformations (accentuate curves, etc...).

ive just started up again, and i have the same problem. after a few motions i end up with a knob that resembles a shar pei dog (the really wrinkly ones) ahah.

so the general consensus is one handed jelqs do provide same outcome?

i figured i hold the base with one hand with an upside down V finger formation, and use the other to jelq, then switch periodically.
