With the majority of people here at pegym being from the US Btufts the results of this poll don't surprise me. Neither does the fact that more cut people wish they weren't than uncut wish they were.

Sample size is too small to draw any conclusions about general population in regards to what I bolded. A sample size of 38, with a devation from the mean of 4, may as well be 100% balanced between those who voted.

Yeah that's basically how the issue is portrayed on american tv, that it's only a jewish thing. Not true. In fact I think it's only relatively recently that the rates dropped by so much in Canada and the UK where I am. Maybe the 60's or something. I think in places like Australia it's actually illegal to cut newborns but I may be wrong.
And good point stretch, also there could be a bias because some guys actually FIND PE by looking for information on foreskin restoration. PEgym included now that we have our own forum for that matter :D.

Circumcision also significantly reduces the risk of HIV during penile-vaginal sex.

The World Health Organization (WHO; 2007), the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS; 2007), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC; 2008) state that evidence indicates male circumcision significantly reduces the risk of HIV acquisition by men during penile-vaginal sex.

Actually from what I read there has been no proper conclusive studies, hence the rates dropping in so many countries, but I will read the study you provided. I know australia's decision to ban was based after a study showed there was no significant benefits to the surgery.
And also, condoms significantly reduce the risk of the spread of HIV :D

Maybe I d0n't have any idea. I'm circumcisized, circumcision is a c0mm0n practice in the Philippines. Uncircumsized dudes are m0re pr0ne t0 devel0p urinary tract infecti0ns (UTI) which may lead t0 seri0us diseases/illnesses in later life (pr0state cancer, etc.)

If you've strapped a condom on, what is the difference between circumcised and uncircumcised?

One has foreskin. Naw just kidding, I'll be honest I've never even had sex with glans exposed, I had phimosis. So I won't play the sensitivity card.
But I suppose that's a question worth asking women who've experienced both. It does seem likely though that the preferences I've seen with uncut would be in reference to sex without condom. But who knows?

Hey crank, how did you manage that? I thought the frenulum always went when they cut your foreskin off. Whatever is the reason you're lucky. It is my understanding that the frenulum is the most sensitive part of the package, not the glans as is widely believed. Regardless, after very extensive study on the subject, and having been circumcised at birth, I'm an avid dis-believer in being cut. I think it's a barbaric cultural and religious habit that's been sugar coated over the centuries so that we don't even question it. Well after restoration of mine, it was the best thing I ever did. Congrad on you still having at least a piece of it still left.
Cheers

Good for you hooded. Congratulations and good post, I completely agree.
Maybe post a little success story in the foreskin restoration forum?

Circumcised and glad. I have no wish to worry about fungal infections on my dong. Crotch infections are a woman's worry and should stay that way...

No, but they are the ones who traumatize their children by cutting them well into their toddler years sometimes. Either do it at birth or don't do it...

As far as I've seen, some condom membranes can be much more form fitting and still allow the glans to take mushroom shape. I'd have to wager any kind of sex that involves bumps on the penis that better stimulate the g-spot or other vaginal areas is a superior experience for the female...

I think it's called the German cut by some people, Hooded. I know the good doctor left my frenulum and a lot of foreskin intact as well--probably why I have the anteater look already.

Have you connected with Calixto? He (and Bigstick18, both cut) are as passionate as you are about restoring the foreskin.

If you'd known the benefits of a functioning foreskin you would know how easy it is to keep clean, fungal infections really aren't an issue. I really can't understand this idea that it's dirty, I don't know what people think is under there. Yeast infections are possible, for both cut and uncut people, often from washing with down there with soap.

I didn't understand this post at first but are you referring to the 'bumps' of the coronal ridge of a cut penis that doesn't have skin to cushion it. The people that can only really offer insights here at this forum as to female preference are the ladies or the guys who are married and have restored. Batwoman has never had an uncut penis and I would hazard a guess to say TTBB hasn't had a cut one, or hasn't had too many.
I know RestoringTally says his partner prefers it, saying it's less 'stabby' or something, and he's posted links to stories of women reporting sex with uncut males as more pleasurable. One I remember an american woman just thinking it was italians being great in bed but when she experienced a british man she realised it was because they were uncut. I've read quite a few times that the ridge can feel somewhat sharp inside the vagina, especially in comparison anyway.

Obviously I can't offer first hand experience without a vagina :D I just know that for me my foreskin gliding, even just in masturbation, feels AWESOME.

Uncut and very happy. I guess either way, one should try to be confident and happy with what they have, although I am a strong proponent that the choice should be up to the child. Obviously, it will be something they could decide in their teen yrs, but I am sure most would elect to keep the foreskin. And if they decide otherwise, it is their choice- as it should be.

I think circumcision is a backwards and useless surgery and I am happy that it is slowing being phased out in the US - one of the few countries that still does it at a high level. Big and easy money maker for docs, of course.

This post is pretty much perfect and sums up how I feel, even as an outsider from the UK.
