I was 5'4" in high school. 5'5" when I got my drivers license renewed when I was 20. I'm gonna be 23 soon and I'm about 5'6". That's as far as that will get. I'm going to try some stuff that can make you taller (evidentally). I need to get my computer fixed, first off, so I can find that stuff again.

Will you be trying those "Stretching excersises?" I heard that its possible to gain some extra height from it, but like I was with PE at first, I was skepticle. I dunno, might work. I know I shouldn't be complaing at 5'11", well, 5'11" 1/2, but like having a bigger dick, being taller wouldnt be bad either lol

I hate to be the bearer of terrible news... but once you reach a certain age (post-puberty)... the epiphyseal plates at the terminals of each of your 206 bones "seal" so to say to prevent further growth and development. The only means to really get taller is to break a number of bones and set them at X distance with external braces to allow the bones to heal... but even that is risky and a not a certainty... sorry.

Well, the stretching excersises are mainly to improve posture, by improving and elongating the spine. But yes Dante311, you are right. Once the growth plates fuse, they close for good. But for some indivuials, although vary rare, their growth plates remain open well into their early 20's.

Yes, it's to improve posture and get that extra inch or two. It kinda helps elongate the spine, but more visually than actually making it longer.

I can't remember what age we all were, 18 or 19 I'd guess, but around at my mate's place once we all measured our height precisely (because friend was preoccupied with height as he is 6'4 and always wanted talk about it) I remember at that time I was 177cm.

Since then I grew to 180cm (as measured at doctors) so I went through some late teen/early twenties growth in height, so you're right there it seems.

I swear my physiology stayed adolescent/younger longer than it was supposed to.

Some people hang upside with weights to increase the inter-vertebral spaces and gain height. Dunno how much scope there is in it, wonder if people could wring an extra half inch or inch out of it. To officially be 6ft tall would be a nice confidence reinforcing stat I guess.

Hmm, interesting. I had my mother measure me with a level and I actually came out as 5,11" 1/2(182 cm) I might just make it to 6', and if Im really really lucky and my growth plates are still open, 6'1" That would be soo awesome lol

Hey wolfmesser, I can assure you it is possible to grow after your teen years. When I joined the Military, at my entrance physical, I was 6'2" and 19 years old. When I was discharged form the Navy at the age of 22, I was over 6'3". Now, I am in my 30s and 6'4", I measured about a year ago, so i cant say when i gained that last inch. Furthermore, I know I am not an exception to the rule, because the same happened to my oldest brother, he went from 6' to 6'2". However, my other brother hit 6' in high school and that was it, go figure. Anyways, I hope this is encouraging.
